To Retreat

 re-treat [ree-treet]
verb
to treat again

According to Webster's Dictionary,
I am right on course.
I find that every Fall I need to treat myself
again to a secluded getaway with dear friends
(and deer friends),
good food and lots of sewing.

Bear Lake with all of it's wildlife
and water is just the place
for a bunch of lazy peeps
who need to constantly
re-treat themselves.

This is how we spell re-TREAT.

This is how we sew at the RE-treat.

We love to Re-Treat ourselves up and down the stairs and pet our projects on the way.
We must RETREAT ourselves every year
with the annual Love Gift fest.

I'll be treating you later to all the goodness.
So I guess it will be a RE-treat for you too!!

We had a REAL treat this year,
with a new friend.
Natty Bat was live from the internet!
She wasn't scary or anything.
But don't try this at home.

I'm not big on wildlife but they sure were friendly this year.

They warmed up over time.

Pretty soon, they made themselves at home.

This Doe was quite the looker.
She might be invited back.
Then she could RE-treat, too.

Cute Bots Kits!

Adoring this Cute Bots fabric!
My new most favorite go-to pattern is
Peek-a-Boo Bag.

I think everyone needs one.
Starting with me!
Then all my friends, teachers, graduates, etc. will be getting one.
Notice it is lined as you take a peek inside.

My new little tote holds my travel sewing machine's cord,
foot pedal, accessories & pins.
I just slip it in my project bag.

The bag needed a cute zipper pull,
so I pulled out the Shrinky Dinks & meet my new friends.
They are way cuter in person.

Would you like your own Cute Bots Bag?
We have some kits on etsy.
They come with everything you need to make it,
except the Shrinky Dink zipper pulls. :)

Kokka Giveaway Day!! Over

Congrats to #40 Barb!!!

A little red riding hood will be coming your way!

Oh, it's a good day to be here.

I've never given away the Japanese fabric.
Why?
Because I love it, of course.

I often hear, "I don't know what to do with it."
So we are revisiting Quilt Market & drooling over the samples.

This aqua is the prettiest shade.
It's a darling baby/toddler print.

Then of course, Heather Ross & her Far Far Away III prints,
including Snow White.

The Kokka prints range in weight -- some are a linen blend, some are like a soft canvas, some are a normal quilting/sewing fabric weight, so when you're looking at them, be sure to see what kind of fabric it is.
Sweet Little Red Riding Hood.
Actually, we have 2 new Red Riding Hood Kokkas.

And of course, my second favorite, Hello Kitty.

And then we have the Girl, the Bear & the Apples.
She's the winner for me.

There are lots more:

including robots, guitars, funny food labels,
owls & mushrooms and fairy tales...

To enter the drawing for a 1/2 yard ,
leave a comment about which one you'd like &
what you would possibly make.

Random drawing later tonight.

P.S. Just got more Ruby by Camille & Bonnie in!
