A few songs that put me right back in that pizza kitchen are:
December 1963 (Oh What a Night; Dreamweaver, Chevy Van - and a few others. Only on a different level. The songs from the 60s bring me memories of being 10 and having my sisters play the radio constantly. I was the baby by 8 years in my family and my older sisters were very sophisticated and Dionne Warwick and early Carpenters songs were a staple. As well as show tunes from the 50s. We had those records - someone gave them to my mom, or we would not have had them. Music brings good memories.

Your posts are so fun.

I love saving money like that. Only it isn't really savings, I wish. Almost all of mine are from the 70's, some from the 80's and then 50's and 60's for good measure. I don't even KNOW what songs are out now unless my kids tell me (and then they are most likely country). I LOVE what a song can do...transport you like a time machine. Knock Three Times - my sister's bedroom and we are singing & laughing. EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear it! That seems to come on the SIRIUS radio station at the gym often. So many songs tied to my time with dh, since we met in high school. We usually have a song for ANY occasion (much to the disappointment of our children :D ). I can't sing worth a lick (but I do anyway in front of the family) but I do have a piano you are welcome to play.
BTW - LOVE infomercials, even those I have seen before.CJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12644905777364436470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354778152505693948.post-3145940524894007402009-02-03T13:59:00.000-07:002009-02-03T13:59:00.000-07:00Ya know even though Im still concidered young (24)...Ya know even though Im still concidered young (24) I remember listening to these songs with my grandparents.
