October in Idaho

This is dedicated to those of you in Hawaii.

It's pretty, but it's just wrong.

And then it got ugly.

  3. Your video will probably be the closest I get to snow living here in Georgia (but hail from PA). There are times that I miss it (holiday time especially).

Please don't hate me but I am in capris and short sleeve top now.

  5. My tomato plants are dead. Yep. Summer is over. By the afternoon the snow was gone but it is really cold this morning. Slipper, hot chocolate and quilt weather on the agenda now.

  6. I feel your pain! Just yesterday I said to my husband that now begins my yearly 6 months of "Why do we live here?"(pac. nw) questions. I like heat! I like sun!

  7. LOVE IT!!! Bring it on! I live wayyyyy further north in Idaho and NO snow for us. We had a absolutely beautiful week of fall weather. Yesterday we finally got the killing frost that took out all the plants on my porch. Today is overcast. Mmmmmm, quilting weather ;) NOW I get the whole hand sewing the binding, yup, sitting with that quilt draped over you and stitching away. I could maybe get into THAT! ;)

  8. Tooooo funny, Des! I'm glad it's you guys, and not us (well, yet, anyway)! The good news is that it's hot chocolate time! Better get you some flannel lined jeans, too! Cheers!

  9. tell charlie hello love him and greg needs a better aim although maybe not at his mother. Lets see Saturday in that snowstorm my son was playing his first playoff soccer game we all froze especially him in shorts what a day. We won though which makes it just slightly better.

  11. My favorite part of those videos, was the stern use of the full first name. :) I'd take snow over crazy winds that start rampant fires. I'll have to live vicariously. :)

  12. Funny funny! My son and I cracked up hearing you whisper yell at your dog. I'm sure he completely understood you!! We had a few snowball fights here too. I'm hoping fall will return so I can plant my FALL bulbs!. Yikes!

  13. Nice to know that we're not the only place (Joseph, OR) that gets snow nearly 12 months out of the year! I nearly had a breakdown when it snowed here a couple weeks ago. I was begging my husband to do something, anything, just make Fall last a little longer. He thought that was quite funny!
