Match Game

I loved this idea the minute I saw it.
Knew that it was just the perfect gift for my nephew, Harry. Hope he doesn't read Taffy Talk. He's bright, but I don't believe he's reading blogs yet. Heck, I'D love this in my stocking! I followed the directions here. Found the chipboard squares in the scrapbook section at the craft store. They were $2.99 for 20. I bought 2 bags. If I was a handy dandy coupon girl like Corrie, I would have gotten them even cheaper. But alas, I am not very handy with a coupon. Had full sheets of scrapbook paper because I don't scrapbook. Now, I really won't because all the pages are missing a 2" x 4" rectangle off of each sheet.
Made up a quick drawstring bag.
It really is like a 30 minute project, start to finish.
Corrie assures me Harry is brilliant and will be able to handle the matching game. Hope so.
Now, the first chipboard I find underneath a couch cushion......heads will roll.

Wait, until Corrie sees what we made Shadowman!!!
I've got pictures, but I will need to save them for after Christmas!
I love all the great ideas floating around blogland!

  2. Hi Des, I'm enjoying all your ideas. Is Corrie gone for the whole month? My daughter and I tried making the cupcakes plates. We had fun going to goodwill etc.BUT they didn't stick. We tried 2 different Loctite products to no avail. There are several varieties of Loctite adhesive. We'll keep trying...

  3. I'm SO doing those! I have enough scrapbook supplies I could probably do some for every kid on the planet. Okay maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but at least every kid in town! Thank you so much for sharing. You always find the cutest things!

  15. These are so clever and I had to go check out the blog where you discovered them. I could tuck this away for grandchildren but by then I won't EVER remember. Love the bright colors.
