White Envelope

Got the mail yesterday & there was a big white manilla envelope from Moda. Yippee! I was feeling it & said, "They sent me a calendar! Excellent, I need another one." I'm anticipating stunning pictures.
Tore open the envelope....

It's the Christmas Catalog for 2009. Hunh? I was open-mouthed for a moment.

I slapped it down on the counter. I am not ready for Christmas. I do not remember ordering this early last year. Are you kidding -- today, I was so proud that I finally remembered to throw away the wreath on the door. I still have decorations lurking around.

But tonight, I peeked at it. This one caught my eye -- it's by basicgrey, their line is called Figgy Pudding. Much cuter than the picture shows. I like that one. Moda also has more traditional, beautiful and cute Christmas. I just can't go there right now. Can you?

It's January. I really just wanted a calendar.

  2. I haven't ever gotten their catalog do you have a web site address that I can go to in order to ask for a catalog? Yes a year in advance is early but I guess a lot of people might start working on Xmas projects early - I would not - I would be tired of Xmas before it got to me :)

  3. I don't know if you can request a catalog. It's put out for the store owners. They are treated like gold at quilt market, you must be bestowed one from your rep. Sometimes they do a catalog, sometimes not.

  11. I started checking the United Notions website right after Christmas this year for next year. I just wasn't super excited about any of the lines this year, but wanted to make a tree skirt. I love the new Figgy Pudding and also the new one from 3 sisters. Can't wait to get started this spring.
