Crazy Weird

I was married in December,
It was this pretty, chilly and snowy outside.
BEST decision I ever made.

You know how I love a good wedding quilt.
My friend's now have children getting married!
That's crazy weird!

But a Christmas wedding is never weird.
And a Christmas wedding quilt is super NOT weird.

My setting may be a bit weird but I love it
 and that's all that matters!
I've made a few quilts with this setting

I love it because it's made with one layer cake
and some neutral fabric.
Perfect lap size, 56" x 72".

Inspired by my favorite quilter, Oh Fransson.

She's definitely not weird.
And if she is.....sign me up!

  2. Happy late anniversary! The quilt is fun, and although I'd make it in summer colors so I don't shiver looking at it, I love it!

  8. I. LOVE. THIS. QUILT. I need to get busy and start cutting one just for me. How much yardage did you use for the setting? I'm going to head on out to the LQS tomorrow!!! Lucky December wedding couple.

  11. Love that quilt top Ms. Taffy! What a fun idea to combine the holiday and the wedding. We had a Christmas-time wedding too -- you know, the between semesters kind. I wouldn't do it again if I had it to do over -- the anniversary gets lost in the holiday!
