Orange ya glad I found you??!!

I have such a bad habit of losing things.
(I'm currently wearing glasses that are
3 prescriptions ago because
I can't find the current pair.)
This time it was really bad.

I received these blocks,
lovingly donated to do.good.stitches.

It was a great little project for a retreat.
"I'll just put these blocks in my bag to square up
when I need a break from the sewing."
Squared them up in 2012?  ugh.

Came home and couldn't find them....anywhere.
I was SURE that I had mistakenly thrown them away.
So distressed!

But joy came in 2014!
They were in a bag of crochet goodness
that I obviously hadn't looked at since 2012.

I'm so sorry to my fellow do good-ers!!

BUT it's done and I love it!!
It's already been donated to a
local charity for a cute, little baby bundle.

Stats:  Pattern idea here.
Each participant was asked to make a 9 1/2" block
out of red/orange squares and any solid gray color.
Size:  36" x 45"

Come Retreat with us this fall!!
Still openings for session one!

  4. My dear husband says I don't lose things...I merely misplace them for a time. Isn't he sweet? Your finished quilt is stunning with wonderful colors. Creative Quilting Bliss...

  6. Love this quilt!! Really pretty and cheerful! Your title reminds me of an old knock knock joke when I taught 2nd grade:
    Knock Knock
    Who's there?
    Banana
    Banana who?
