It seems like a waste of time to me. But I don't like rough edge quilting so I just leave it alone.Nanette Merrillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05734358126338038553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354778152505693948.post-78333885682428787632009-08-29T15:40:29.663-06:002009-08-29T15:40:29.663-06:00I only got a few school supplies to date. I bought him a box of crayons too - for old time's sake. ;) I should go back and get glue sticks and Elmer's Washable Glue. Thanks for the reminder.<br />LOVE the quilt!!! I use a very fine metal tip to get just the tiniest thinnest line possible and then heat set it with my iron. Holds better than glue stick, completely washable and still unpermanentPetit Design Co.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03674635802240344901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354778152505693948.post-24137012159788335822009-08-29T00:35:37.170-06:002009-08-29T00:35:37.170-06:00I actually bought the wash out fabric adhesive, bu...I actually bought the wash out fabric adhesive, but am scared to make this quilt! I bought it a while ago to make as a baby gift (he's 4 months old now!) and haven't done it, as the measuring and placement of the squares seems so daunting! I guess I should just suck it up and do it!!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00662085097517296000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354778152505693948.post-10456106498966749482009-08-28T22:14:47.974-06:002009-08-28T22:14:47.974-06:00My kids glue sticks are what I used when I made my...My kids glue sticks are what I used when I made my Vintage Baby quilt. You can find this in the back to school supplies too. Washable Elmer's glue. Just put a little dab in the middle of the square. They all stay on while your sewing the rows. then it washes out when you wash the quilt. I have one that is still glued on that I started back in April. I guess I should finish that one, huh? Try it you might like it to. oohsaahsw@aol.comShannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08874442560192531468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6354778152505693948.post-55917580213223195552009-08-28T20:42:04.116-06:002009-08-28T20:42:04.116-06:00How do you use the glue sticks? How do you use the glue sticks?Jennwith4https://www.blogger.com/profile/08924295258735252410noreply@blogger.com
