What's in here?
An amazing collection of
Hiroshima Needles.
I busted a needle the other day and
thought
this
is stupid.
I have old bent needles
that I've been using forever.
So I was searching and decided on
this lovely set from Tulip.
To learn more about the needles, see here.
It has a generous assortment of needles and pins -
- Embroidery Needles #7 #8 #9 #10 Thin sizes
- Applique Needles #10 Big Eye
- Quilting Needles Between #10
- Milliners Needles Straw Assorted #8 #9 #10 Thin sizes
- Sewing Needles #9 Sharp Tip
- Patchwork Pins 60 count
The needles are housed in a
pretty little glass tube
with a cork top,
inside of these colorful boxes.
Each tube is labeled.
I'm ready to be more organized
in my crafty pursuits.
Super excited
about this set!
And it would make a
beautiful Christmas gift.
We have more Big Stitch
needles in stock.
Love these for stitching
with perle cotton.
And there are Doll Needles 3.5" size
and sewing machines needles too!
The giveaway today is a
Big Stitch, Doll Needles or
Universal Sewing Machine Needles pack.

ReplyDeleteI bought some Pearle Cotton to hand quilt with after seeing all the cool tutorials on pinterest, but can't find a needle to work with, and all the local quilt shops are unaware of the Pearle Cotton quilting craze, so no one can help me pick a correct needle out! I would LOVE to win this so I can finally try it!

Where would we all be without needles? Nice giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteWhen you said you had needles you'd been using for "years", I just had to laugh cuz that's me all over again!! lol I'm really good about new needles for my machines BUT hand needles of all kinds are never thrown away unless they break. Just recently, I realized that they should be replaced just like a machine needle. That box of Hiroshima needles is so darn cute - they truly look like a piece of art.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try Big Stitch quilting regular quilting will never happen, I couldn't stitch tiny stitches. Thanks for the generous giveaway! ;-> Toni Anne
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteWhy do we sew as long as we do with dull and or bent needles?
ReplyDeleteI saw the Tulip needles at a LQS the other day. I didn't realize the had windows in the back of the boxes. Ivery been looking at needles since realizing I was using the wrong kind for slip stitching my binding on. Anyhow, I've also been itching to try big stitch quilting.

Wow, what a cool collection! I've been trying the big -stitch quilting lately, and sometimes, if I have the wrong needle, it takes just as long to thread it as it does to use it!
