  16. Our family Christmas celebration will be this coming weekend. Gifts made are done and wrapped and ready for my grands. I made: Grandson's Christmas stocking - his first Christmas this year; I embroidered names and other designs on beach towels for 2 granddaughters; 2 other granddaughters got lunch sacks that look like mushroom houses - really cute; and the oldest granddaughter will receive a "Tuffet" stool that was a combined effort of my husband and myself. Whew! Now...for the fun of seeing them open their presents. :)

  22. I got the last of my Christmas sewing done in November - for the first time, I won't be scrambling on Christmas Eve, hehe. However, while I was working through my list I kept finding other fun and new projects to try, so now I get to play and do some extra goodies :) Last night I cut out the pieces for 3 snowman drawstring bags, and this morning I hand stitched 21 buttons in place, so I'm well underway getting these finished :D

  111. Actually, I won't have anything done for Christmas. I just finished a queen quilt for my son and gave it to him at Thanksgiving and now I'm working on a queen quilt for my daughter and hope to give it to her next summer. We live a great distance apart so being together on Christmas day is not always possible.

  114. I just finished up my one and only handmade gift of this Christmas - a Holly Hobby stocking for my sister! I used doilies (decorations from my wedding) as the toe, heal, and top sashing. I love it, but I hate that I can't share it on my blog or on Instagram until after Christmas!
