I joined the Summer Stash Challenge! And just in time.....I was JUST thinking that the next quilt I make would only come from my stash of fabric. So here is just a sneak preview. I love, love, love it. Scrappy quilts are my favorite. Go check out the challenge rules and watch us use up our stash so that we can buy MORE fabric!

Also be watching for a new challenge/adventure coming up here on Taffy Talk!
Very cute beginning! I've added you name o the list. Can't wait to see what you make. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! Are those the aqua cords you found at the thrift store? Cute. Love the color. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteTHEY are!!! They're perfect!
ReplyDeleteI have never made a quilt like that, just all different. But I love the idea of the cords on there. I have too many projects that I need to do before a stash quilt but it is something to think about.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more Des. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love that little pocket!! it looks like a fun quilt to make. It's funny the other day I was complaining that my stash is to big but when I think of doing something like that it doesn't seem big enough.
ReplyDeletei think these are your colors. i love it. i keep looking around my stash for my own version of your "aqua cords".
ReplyDeletelove it, des! it's going to be gorgeous! =)
