  4. I've made lots of gifts, but I think mostly I have enjoyed participating in the 100 Quilts for Christmas project and gifting quilts to charity for the season. THose spring charms would make for a wonderful quilt for a cutie pie in the children's cancer ward.

  8. I know I recently won something, but I am hoping I am allowed to win another something! I am working on making a twin-sized quilt for my teenaged daughter. I don't have a pattern, I just started throwing things together. I used her fave colors of blue and orange, mostly, which I thought for sure would turn out ugly, but actually isn't half bad! :) I am trying to teach my daughter how to decorate kitchen towels so that she can give cute towels to her step-mom for Christmas this year, and another daughter how to make pot-holders, for the same reason. I'm also trying to embroider a snowman picture, which I will surround with a bit of quilting, to make a mini wallhanging for my mom for Christmas. So, I'm busy busy busy!
