It's hard to take a cute picture of a flat quilt, so you'll just have to use your imagination with these other graphics to get a sense of it. Are you feeling it, yet? Speedy, huh?
I made this one out of the sweet and soft Giggles line of flannels. I've said this before and I'll say it again, these are SOFT flannels. We are minkee fans but this flannel is definitely in the running for 2nd place.
Click on the pattern here to download this free pattern! I made up another coloring, if you aren't quite into the bright and bold of Ginger Blossom. Here's a nice mellow Wee Play combo. Also, we have some great Wovens that would be perfect for a baby boy!!

ReplyDeleteI really like that you have given two different colourings for this quilt - the soft, paler tones and the more vibrant. Certainly gives one some ideas. Thank you,

Thanks for posting this quilt pattern. I just made my 1st quilt using it and it turned out adorable.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the newbie question but what is the seam allowance on this. Got my fabric and can't wait to start my first quilt!
ReplyDeleteSpicygingerbeef@yahoo.ca
seam allowance is 1/4".
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI'm new to quilting and I love the "Speady
Baby 2" Pattern. Now that I have all of the pieces cut out, I added the sizes without the seams and it doesn't total 45' x 45". What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Sil
