Le Petite ~ Sweet Spot

This month's Le Petite project is Sweet Spot,

a Schnibbles pattern from Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.

Two sizes are included in the pattern: 30x30" and 36x36"

"A sweet spot is a place where a combination of factors
leads to a particualry suitable solution.
Stars & flying geese?
That's definitely a sweet spot for me." ~ Carrie Nelson
A big thank you to messykaren for making a Sweet Spot.
She had it all planned out --
all of the dots would be the geese flying around the center,
but.......
the fabrics got reversed & cut.
It happens.
Still looks great!

This is made with It's a Hoot by Momo
& grey Bella Solid.

This fabric line has some great prints & colors --
I like the tree fabrics Karen chose for the stars, really showcases them.
And the dots - all of them are fun, especially the banana yellow ones.

Sweet Spot kits out of It's a Hoot are available on etsy.

Also the patterns are on eBay & etsy.
Here is another look
using a single fabric for the background.
We can kit this out of other charm packs if you'd like.
It hits the spot all right.

  4. So glad I saw this today! I am making a quilt using this same fabric line and am trying to decide whether to sash it in gray or white. After seeing your quilt I am going with the gray. Thanks! Beautiful quilt!

  6. That is a darling pattern. I see you changed your little doll self's in your header. Are you sure you don't want snowsuits on instead?
