I don't recall any singular phrase that my mom said a lot, unless it was something like, "you can't even taste the tomatoes..." (I'm not a tomato lover so I would complain if I found any bits in chili or other soups, etc.)

It's not that she didn't like my DH-to-be, but I think she thought we hadn't known each other long enough. That, and it's what her mother said to her when she married my dad. Now that was an even shorter engagement! They were married 38 1/2 years until my dad's death.

And there is nothing in the world that will make any of us marry them.) Well, my mom replys... "You better start dying then." HAHAHA (You might have had to been there.)
