You Are The ...

A friend invited me to a
little cookie party.

She's kind of
an over-achiever. :)

And I like to over-achieve,
when I'm in the mood.

First, I have to tell you about Christmas.

So I made her a little coin purse for Christmas.
I'm thinking - it's darling and
a labor of love for her.

I give it to her,
 and she adores it.
And then she gives me this...

A Nativity.
It's hand carved by her.
Hand Carved.
Who does that?
Carol does.
I bet she grew the tree
and chopped it.
I cried.  I love it.

Back to cookies -
So she wants to make these quirky
Valentine cookies found here
They look a little time intensive.
I brought some candy
and my cookies,
so I'm ready to play.

Here we go...
Valentine -
You Are The...
Egg to My Bacon
Disclaimer:  When trying to hide cookies from your child,
do not put on a high cupboard where they will get melty.
My bacon looked so crisp yesterday.

You Are The...
Peanut to My Butter
You Are The...
Milk to My Cookie

You Are The...
Glaze to My Donut

You Are The...
Bread to My Butter

You Are The...
Beat to My Heart

You Are The...
 Bubble to My Gum

You Are The...
Peas to My Carrots
By this time, I am done writing with the edible marker that doesn't work.

And lastly,
my favorite -

You Are The
Macaroni to My Cheese

Pretty silly
but so cute.
