A little Gardenvale
and Feed today.
Feed is by Sweetwater.
They designed it around this large print
they call Brands.
Sweetwater included this fun 'church cookbook' print.
The recipes are real award winning recipes
that they took to the county fair
when they were kids.
They say the Sugar Cookie recipe
has won several
blue ribbons.
I'll be taking a look at that.
And Jen Kingwell is
a new designer for Moda.
Definitely vintage
with a modern twist.
are in the shop too!
The giveaway today is a 5" charm pack
of your choice - Feed or Gardenvale.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the chànce to win really cute fabric!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win Feed. I just have to try that sugar cookie recipe. (And it is so cute!)
ReplyDeleteI love Feed! All the recipes, red and aqua goodness, oh my, what not to love!
ReplyDeleteI love both charm packs not sure which one I love more. feed is great because it looks like it blends well with their other lines plus has all the cool texty prints and Gardenvale is just awesome. Thanks for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteI love Feed, because it's a good combination of low-volume fabrics and others.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
Rike
I love them both, but I think Feed is first choice at the moment. I have a quilt to make for a new baby boy, I'm thinking Feed looks like just the fabric I need.
ReplyDeleteI love the novelty of the Feeds pre cuts. Can't remember seeing recipe fabric below.
ReplyDeleteI always love fabric with words. Love Feed. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am loving both of these fabrics and I always love anything moda-but I would choose Gardenvale because they look very vintage-like me lol thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteKathy
I love the collors of Feed, and the text prints
ReplyDeleteI love Gardenvale - perfect mix of colors - Feed the colors are nice but too similar for me. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love them both! That print with the trucks on it though is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteCorrie, I love Gardenviale for its vintage appeal
ReplyDeleteBoth lovely! Feed would be my top choice because it would be great to include these unique text prints in a scrappy quilt. I always like it when there are fun things to discover (recipes, cute!) in a scrap quilt.
ReplyDeleteoh, I like the look of Feed right now...thanks for th giveaway girls.
ReplyDeleteAnything Sweetwater for me! Just love their style.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking forward to Gardenvale coming out. I love that vintage look.
ReplyDeleteI love Feed! It reminds me of my grandmother's fabrics and recipes.
ReplyDeleteDear Corrie,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this giveaway! I like Feed because of the little recipes!
Best wishes,
Sara Ö.
Ohhhh... I love Feed with that recipe and brand fabric! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is a difficult choice - I love them both! But I would have to say that Feed wins, because of the recipes print. I love any kind of text prints. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteOf! "feed" looks like a lot of fun to play with! Sweet water is a favorite of mine!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
'Feed', by Sweetwater - is my favorite, as it just reminds me of the wonderful bygone days of yesterday!!
ReplyDeleteI like the feed sack best - just something about the blues and reds working together in those tones. Here's hoping!
ReplyDeleteI love Feed! The text prints are great!
ReplyDeleteI really like Feed but I have to say I have been intrigued by Jen Kingwell and her patterns so her fabrics are interesting too.
ReplyDeleteI like them both - but with Feed, I would want more text prints. So I would choose Gardenvale for the colors and texture prints. I think Gardenvale would work beautifully with one or more solids.
ReplyDeleteI really like the color in Feed. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like the retro look of Feed
ReplyDeleteFeed! I love the text print, the tiny trucks, and the plaid. So much to love!
ReplyDeleteLove the Gardenvale. I've always had a thing for 30's fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love Jen Kingwell's Gardenvale. Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI love Feed Company. That truck print is so cute and I have to see that recipe print. Thanks for the fun giveaway.
ReplyDeleteLove Feed, i have all of sweetwaters fabrics! Don't just love those little trucks!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose Feed Co-I love any kind of text print and the recipe is a cool surprise. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love Feed! The colors are awesome. I have always liked text/word fabrics and the brands make it special. I love the combination of modern and old fashioned. It's just so me. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them both but Gardenvale is amazing. It reminds me of the prints in a scrap bag my aunt gave me years ago. The bits ended up sprinkled in lots of scrap projects and I love spotting them.
ReplyDeleteBoth are great, but I prefer Gardenvale as I love florals. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.
Both lines are lovely but, Feed is definitely my favorite. thank you
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win one of these great charms. I like them both but since you asked which one I would pick "Gardenvale" as I love the colors they just kind of jump off at you.

I really like the modern look of Gardenvale but that Feed has my heart. I really like the cookbook print and the colors are great! Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI am so in awe of Jen Kingwell! Her fabric looks like it will fit right in with her designs!
ReplyDeleteFeed is the fav for me. The colors are the reason why and the size of the prints. I am working up a few mini designs and the smaller prints will work great in the little pieces.
ReplyDeleteBut for the record: I am SO happy Jen Kingwell is with Moda, have loved her patterns for years. And her fabrics help me to stretch to a different kind of beauty I seldom venture into.
Feed for me... I same to have a late developing fondness for print fabric.
ReplyDeleteThey are both wonderful, but I think I love Gardenvale most. However I do want some of those recipes on Feed!!!
ReplyDeletekeels@mvdsl.com
Both are so fun, but I think I like Feed more.
ReplyDeleteLove them both-but would go with feed company...although the garden vale would make a great spring/summer quilt....
ReplyDeleteFeed. I want the recipes!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I like Feed Company, mostly because I wouldn't mind trying a couple of those recipes:) Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFeed, all the way. I love the text prints, colors and those tiny little trucks.
ReplyDeleteOh, I've been waiting for Feed Company to come out! So excited!
ReplyDeleteI like Gardenvale, but love Feed. It would work perfectly on the new throw I'm planning! Those colors are speaking to me now.
ReplyDeleteI can't make up my mind about Gardenvale...one day I like it,the next day not so much...I think Feed is the way to go. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI'm drawn to Feed because of the colors, the other is too pastel for me. Thank you for sharing the new lines!
ReplyDelete~Brandy
So tough because I like them both. I'll have to go with feed. I like the blue and the masculine touch. I'm not an overly girly girl.
ReplyDeleteI love both today. LOVE the text print, but have always been drawn to the vintage lines too.
ReplyDeleteI really like Feed because it makes me think of growing up on the farm.. Such sweet memories!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win Gardenvale, I've been dying to see this line and make some magic!
ReplyDeleteI'd like Gardenvale, I love all the colors and it reminds me of fabric from my grandmother's house.
ReplyDeleteI love Feed - the geometric designs!
ReplyDeleteThe Gardenvale print is super cute and springy!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like the Sweetwater Feed one- I love the text prints and the colors! Thanks for the giveaway! cherisetoweratgmaildotcom

ReplyDeletemsstitcher1214@gmail.com
Feed is my fave also. Gotta get some more of this!
ReplyDeletei love print fabric and i love that fabric's in the other to because they are bright
ReplyDeleteI love Gardenvale! I have been wanting to make a granny square quilt and this collection is perfect for the vision I have in mind.
ReplyDeleteCorrie, I don't know HOW I would decide between the two! I would choose Gardenvale though - because I tried submitting TWO different quilt designs for MBS with Gardenvale as the print I mocked up the design in (and ended up getting Daysail for the one that was accepted, but I am suuuuper super happy with that collection too, and will cherish that quilt forever and always!). So, my choice would be Gardenvale :) Plus, I have one of her quilt patterns (Gypsy Wife) in progress (haven't worked on it for a while) that it would be excellent to add to some of the blocks! :)
ReplyDeleteFeed is the one! The other, a bit too old fashioned for me! No idea of what I would do, but sure will create something special! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love Feed!!!….it would be a great compliment to my Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements fabric I'm planning on making a quilt with. Thanks for the sweet giveaway!
ReplyDeletecwayons(at)yahoo(dot)com

I like the Feed fabric. I guess I'm a country girl at heart.
ReplyDeleteOh, the Feed fabric is gorgeous. I love the color palette.

ReplyDeleteI like the Feed fabric. I think it would make a great patchwork bag.
ReplyDeleteI love the Feed prints. I like the recipe texts.
ReplyDeleteBoth fabric groups are very cute, but I love the Feed group because I am getting into having words on quilts and I like the coordinates.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun fabrics. My favorite is Feed, as I really like the "word" prints, and the tiny little red cars! Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFeed!! Love the cookbook fabric. Thanks for the chance, would love to win.
ReplyDeleteI love FEED COMPANY! First of all - Sweetwater!, Secondly - the colors!, the texts! oh ya, the COLORS! :)
ReplyDeleteFeed is definitely my choice. I have had my eye on this fabric, I love the prints especially the recipe portions. I really like text on fabrics.
ReplyDeletedawnm1993(at)gmail(dot)com
Both are great, but Feed is definitely my favorite. Love the colors and love the wordy prints. Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteFeed has beautiful colours and the fabric range is wonderful.

I love Gardenvale and have been dying to see it in person. There's just something about it, old yet new, and different looking, that I like. Keeping my fingers crossed really hard!
ReplyDeleteI have loved Gardenvale since the photos began to hit the blogs from the big quilt show. It was love at first sight. Jen's whole booth was calling my name.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a hard choice! I think I would want the Feed so I can look at the recipes! :) Am a sucker for new recipes (even the old ones).
ReplyDeletecraftyccain@gmail.com
I collect cookbooks when on vacation so I would love the 'church cookbook' print.
ReplyDeletekdavis1@centurytel.net
I would choose feed. Because I have been totally eating all day long.... I love to cook, and I love text fabrics. Thanks for the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteLove the Feed line. Sweetwater is awesome. I love the recipe one.
ReplyDeleteWow! Do I have to choose? I love all Sweetwater but those vintage prints are just my style!
ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one, Corrie. The Sweetwater one is definitely fun, but I love Jen Kingwell's patterns, and I think that one would be really interesting. She does a wonderful thing with patterns and colors. I guess I would say Gardenvale is what I like.
ReplyDeleteAhhh such a hard one! I think I'd choose feed- I want to try that recipe- hah! But I also love the farm life!

ReplyDeleteThe Feed line is my favorite. The colors are a nice mix of vintage and clean.
ReplyDeleteDefinately FEED!!! I love text prints...collecting to make a quilt for myself for a tv watching quilt...but I have recently started making fabric lace memory books and text prints would be perfect embellishment for them also! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI love the Feed fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love Feed! I want to try the sugar cookie recipe too!
ReplyDeleteI truly love both but the FEED spoke to me first. Love the historical concept when homemakers had to make due with feed sacks for their quilt fabric and to make other household items including clothes. Much simpler times that I honor but very glad I don't live in!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely, but I'd like to get my hands on that sugar cookie blue ribbon recipe too! So, my choice would be Feed and I'd be making a darling table runner for my dining room table.
