  1. lol It is Thursday here....and I've just got home from work and decided to reward myself with a mooch around blogland while I cool off! It has been HOT here today....roll on autumn! Being Thursday means going to the local Chinese for dinner....and then stitching on a biscornu! Have a wonderful Wednesday/Thursday!

  2. Where I'm at it's Thursday afternoon! I spent the morning shopping for fabric because my sister and mother insist I make clothes for them now that I know how to. I'll probably have to spend the rest of the day washing and hanging out the fabric while watching some tv in between :D

    Best wishes!

  5. It's around lunch-time here in Norway. We have cloudy, foggy weather, snow, and the sea is calm!
I am home from work with a sick child, trying to get some housework (boring) done, and also trying do clean up my sewing-room (a little less boring, but still boring)...
We are both waiting for a father/husband and older siblings/children to come home for the week-end/winter-break! This was quite confusing...LOL
Since housework isn't the things I like the most, I'm surfing around in blog-land! And I enjoy it!
Have a wonderful day, no matter what you are doing!

  18. I'm at work this morning and I'm supposed to be working, but, um, I'm reading blogs for a little bit first. You don't want to rush into a days work all at once. Much better to ease into these things slowly. After work today there will be grocery shopping, laundry and a quick dinner. If I have any energy left, I'll be working on a couple of quilt blocks for a swap I'm in while I watch Lifetime Movie Network. Oh yeah, I'll probably head to the fabric store on my lunch break for batting and thread since its on sale today.

  124. It's kind of close to the end of the day here, but I did accomplish much today... 6 loads of laundry, a batch of bread and several dozen cookies, sewed up a pair of pj's for my girl, not to mention cooking 3 meals and cleaning up, a few errands, phew, no wonder I'm so tired. I'm so looking forward to my first ever quilt retreat starting tomorrow evening.... pure bliss.

  125. Today I worked on a quilt my daughter started 15 months ago right after her first baby was born and she was going through severe post-partum depression and I thought quilting would help her. After she got to feeling better she completely forgot about her quilt so I am finishing it for her as a surprise.

  127. Wow! Charm packs are pretty popular - evidently. I love some of the new Moda lines. I like to visit United Notions just to see what's coming soon and drool. :) Today I took one of my kiddos to the dentist, typed up some stuff for cub scouts, ran to Target and took way too many pictures of really silly things. After reading what everyone else has been doing, I am feeling like a major slacker - Tomorrow I am baking bread!

  129. I've been quilting of course! I just wish I were quilting something great for myself. I did finish some crazy curtains for a dear friend in England. They're quiltish. I also went to my violin lessons and was chatting with my dear 17 yr old son! Have a great one!

  130. It is friday afternoon here, and hubby's last day of his holidays. My 6 year old son has a party to attend (we are all going) and I am trying to get my new (old - very old) cupboard sorted with my sewing stuff. I think that is more than enough excitement for a Friday lol

  132. Thursday indeed! Today was spent with the septic tank fellow figuring why the alarm we didn't know we had went off two nights ago. We now have a clean and functioning septic system and I'm ready to hunt down the last owner of the house and shoot them for the crazy things done to this house!!!! Now I'm taking a break from packing for a retreat. And I'm drooling over the pretty, pretty fabrics and what could be done with them. Thanks for the treat.

  133. Well, let's see -- I did two loads of laundry and worked in my new sewing room trying to get things organized. I've never had a space of my own (insert happy dance)and it's sew awesome. :)
Oh yeah, I did battle with some Space Bags or whatever they're called -- one of the Billy Mays commercial items. I won. :)
