Rocking on the Porch

I've never been a cheater cloth kind of gal, but I am ready to take the plunge.

Flag Day Farm pre-printed/cheater cloth panel.

It arrived. Actually, it's been here awhile..... staring at me, waiting so patiently to get listed in the store. Good, looks like the other sellers are about sold out. See, waiting has its benefits.

It's from designers, Minick & Simpson -- they have the quilting stitches also printed on the fabric, so it's marked & ready to quilt! I am going to TRY with my little sewing machine to follow the lines & see what happens. Wish me luck.
There was a cute picture of it in the
Just a minute...
See.... Pillowcase Panache. How vintagey is that?

Look what I found in my stash for backing.... um... perfect.

Which do you like, the navy or red?
Hopefully, it will be hanging on the porch soon. I've already got the flowers to go with it.

  1. Oh wow I love being the first to comment. Is that worth a prize? We got this line in at the Corn Wagon but didn't get the panel. I'll have to pursue that a little more. I'm a red gal all the way. It would look really cute on my front porch to. I have the perfect red chairs to go with. I can't wait for summer!

  8. The fabric is the normal 43/44" width. There should be a link to it, in the post. Click on 'panel'.
Just trying to decide what to use for binding.

  9. I love the RED of course. I haven't seen much cheater cloths. This one is very cool and I had no idea they had marking for stitches! DO post when you finish it.
