In the Holiday Spirit

Well, there's no time like Valentines to talk about the holidays :-).

Christmas is coming early this year!

Moda is releasing a limited amount of the Christmas
pre-cuts (charm squares, jelly rolls, layer cakes, fat quarter bundles) this month!

We can all get a taste of what's coming!

Fruitcake, anyone?

I'm expecting it around the end of the month...we'll see.

We'll also be getting Riley Blake's Christmas line, Colorful Christmas (but not in February). Here's a peek.

and

Sheri Berry's - 12 Joys of Christmas.

Let me know what you think of this one.

I so want to be better prepared for the holidays this year.
In fact, Des & I started on a few projects the day after Christmas.

Now, we need to talk Halloween.

There are some great lines coming,

but

'She had me at hello.'
This is the Ghastlies from Alexander Henry.

Another glimpse at the main print, different background.

Can't wait!

  1. Oooooooooooooh - no one does holiday fabric like Sheri Berry! I loooooved the 2009 Sheri Berry Holiday line to pieces and still have a decent amount left - looks like the 2010 line will mix and match with it which is always nice to see! I just love her retro prints and non-traditional holiday colors. Yippee!

  7. So many delicious fabrics. Is it ever too early to start thinking of Christmas, Halloween or any other occasion (or no occasion in particular)? I don't believe so.
By the by, the Ghastlies are great.
    Happy sewing,

    Carolyn

  12. Oh Corrie.......I am such a fan of Sheri Berry as some of your other friends have said...I love the retro look and different colors..and they all marry together so beautifully. Things made from her line..Christmas and Halloween really stand out. I am also a big fan of Barbara Jones from Quilt Soup...the new collection is like a cousin to BubbleGum...same designer...those are just my colors and patterns. Thank you for carrying such a great collection...Wrennette
