It's Simply Sweet ~ Giveaway Over

  9. I could simplify my life by not committing to things that I don't have the time or energy or desire to do. I must learn how to say no and not feel guilty. Too much time is wasted doing things out of a feeling of obligation.
    I also need to turn off the t.v. and learn to enjoy the solitude!

  27. I would simplify today by just throwin' in the towel and heading back to bed! With 10 inches of snow on the ground, mounds of laundry to be folded, a Philosophy paper to be written, and quilt binding... There is too much to do. Oh, did I mention I leave for Florida in 9 hours :/

  28. I don't know how I could possibly simplify today. Thursday are my rough day where I start classes at 9am, continue throughout the day, then go to work and not get home until about 10:30pm.

    I will however try to simplify by not being so stressed out about everything I have to do; I will enjoy lunch with my friends between classes and no worry that I should be doing work instead of sitting with them.

  34. My day was simplified for me by having over 50" of snow on the ground here in the norther VA/DC area causing my schools to be closed for a week, now. :-) I'm off to the sewing room to finish my Sunday Best Schnibbles quilt! Polly :-)

  44. Well I'm still in my pjs surfing the web. I plan on making cookies today for my son's Valentine party tomorrow and that's about it. I don't think I could get much simpler ;0) I definitely can't cut out the cookie making. The joy of eating chocolate chip cookie dough??? Definitely worth it.

  87. So pretty! I've spent part of this week (snow days!) making Valentine pot holders for friends :)

    I've also spent some time simplifying by going through my book shelves and pulling out books I don't read to be donated to my local library. Same goes for my closet, to be donated to the Salvation Army!

  106. That's an easy question. Leave all the work needed to be done and just sit by the sewing machine and sew away. Simple as it sounds, but unfortunately impossible for me today. So at least I keep dreaming. :)

  127. Simplify..mmm start with not having got a 2.5 month old puppy half way through potty training my 2.5 year old daughter. Now I'm potty training both and trying to finish my quilt for quilt club and another for Year of Schnibbles let alone having agreed to make a memory quilt to commemorate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary in May and all of this when my family live 6000 miles away and a 7 hour time difference hence why I spend too much time in front of the computer. I suppose a simple life would be boring!
