Happy Fools Day

**I know this is a repeat. Sorry. I've been bogged down with "good human" stuff this week. I guess that isn't bad to be bogged down it. It's a good thing....but I've just got lots of it. So since we have new folks with us this April Fools Day, I just knew they would be dying to read about my April Fool's Day, last year. Missed it this year. Kids were on spring break and we were out of our groove. See you tomorrow for a fun giveaway!!
This is the scary scene I woke to this morning. Having forgotten that it was truly April 1st (i'm still in denial) "Greg" surprised me with this lovely do. He's normally a long, straight as can be, hair-do person. He actually went to school like this. I can't believe he slept in curlers all night! THAT, I wish I had a picture of. My mother would be very proud. Then my sweet "Marsha", who lives for this day, taped all the toilet paper down. Okay, that was a good one. Then she decorated my computer. I made the mistake and called it a 'bunny' though. "It's a DOG". Yes, dog, I see it now. I've got to come up with something for her. Please, someone, anyone, I need an idea. Don't fail me now! Give me something good or I'm stuck with 'the ole' sew her pj's shut'. ~Des

  1. Good ones! We painted "Harry's" fingernails purple while he slept. Then he went to make eggs for breakfast -they were boiled & the salt & pepper were switched. We put a note wrapped in plastic in "Luna's" sandwich. We'd shortsheet their beds, but of course, my children are too burdened to HAVE to make their beds with one more item than necessary, so none of them have top sheets. Come up with a great dinner surprise!

  3. We tried to paint Greg's nails last year and he kept waking up. bad. I think I'm going to have to go with the yucky cupcakes. Dave and mine will be yummy and Greg and Marsha's will be icky. What do I put in the middle? Mike says, "soap". That's mean! salt? vinegar?

  8. Corrie what a fun blog. You and your sister are so creative. I started blogging a few months ago, because 2 of my daughters are in to it, and it's how we keep up. I love it! I've decided that my new hobby is going to be quilting, do you think I can do it? My blogger username is not my e-mail, it's the hubbies. You have mine though, that's how I found out about this blog.

  9. Love all the April Fools ideas. We were going to wake up all our kids early and tell them all they were late for school, but unfortunately EVERYONE slept through their alarms, and when we woke up at 7:15, half the family was sick, and the others just plain grouchy. Wasn't a good start to our day! There is always next year!
