I loved this idea the minute I saw it.
Knew that it was just the perfect gift for my nephew, Harry. Hope he doesn't read Taffy Talk. He's bright, but I don't believe he's reading blogs yet. Heck, I'D love this in my stocking! I followed the directions here. Found the chipboard squares in the scrapbook section at the craft store. They were $2.99 for 20. I bought 2 bags. If I was a handy dandy coupon girl like Corrie, I would have gotten them even cheaper. But alas, I am not very handy with a coupon. Had full sheets of scrapbook paper because I don't scrapbook. Now, I really won't because all the pages are missing a 2" x 4" rectangle off of each sheet.
Made up a quick drawstring bag.
It really is like a 30 minute project, start to finish.
Corrie assures me Harry is brilliant and will be able to handle the matching game. Hope so.
What a great idea, I think I will be makin some up for my boys, great stocking stuffer!!
ReplyDeleteHi Des, I'm enjoying all your ideas. Is Corrie gone for the whole month? My daughter and I tried making the cupcakes plates. We had fun going to goodwill etc.BUT they didn't stick. We tried 2 different Loctite products to no avail. There are several varieties of Loctite adhesive. We'll keep trying...
ReplyDeleteI'm SO doing those! I have enough scrapbook supplies I could probably do some for every kid on the planet. Okay maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but at least every kid in town! Thank you so much for sharing. You always find the cutest things!
ReplyDeleteI'll be adding this to my to do list, for sure!
