New Love ~ True Love

It's true. I'm twitterpated, as a few of you referenced this word yesterday. My new love is this vintage sheet quilt. I'm working on a little tut for you because I know how you love your tuts!
It's gone from this
to this. It's big, it's quick and it's very easy.
Waiting for a spare moment to get it quilted. Trying to decide on a back. Trying to decide if I should machine quilt or tie with little white fairies all over it. Trying to decide what I should eat while I ponder these things.

Look!
We've got green grass, yes we do!
We've got green grass, how about you??!!

  2. Another unfinished project. Well unfinished probably wouldn't be the right word, because I haven't started it. But I have stack of vintage sheet fat quarters I have got to use. I'm scared to cut into them! LOL. But I think you've inspired me. ooxx`jod

  4. I think I'm going to LOVE it! But you're just teasing us with these glimpses - I want to see the whole thing! Now I am feeling motivated to quit tinkering around out in my flower beds, and hit the sewing room. Keep the pictures coming! :)

  7. I couldn't comment yesterday because of my puncuation and grammer usage, I know it is horrible right Betsy. She is always bugging me about my commas and run on sentences oh well, I will comment on sheet quilt. Where in the world did you find the sheets and don't tell me the DI, cause I can't go there everyday looking....anyways love it!!!!

  8. Almost every time I go to my favorite thrift I see really pretty old sheets like this. I stopped buying them because all I could think to make with them were shopping bags and I knew I wasn't going to do that...this looks like a perfect use. Just sweet little triangles. Brilliant! Can't wait to see the whole thing. :-)
