Polka Baby

I needed something else to go with a baby gift so I made some sweet little burp cloths for my niece's baby-to-be....


My niece said, "Look Mom, at the polka dots."
"Oh, aren't they cute."
Everyone at the shower is agreeing -- oh yes, so cute.


THEN a BIG Squeal -- "Look Mom, there are skulls on them!"

I got a chuckle out of it. I knew she'd like them. She loved them.
The grandma-to-be didn't.
Oh, it's always good to make your sister-in-law roll her eyes.
The flannel is Goth Baby & Dumb Dot Polka Dots from Michael Miller. It comes in pink too :-). I have a little bit left in the store.

    I bought rayna a bib that had the green skulls material. I love it. if they have to wear them why do they have to be ugly?? lol

    Love 'em! I made a clutch bag out of some fabric with little skulls and the crossbones were knitting needles. I blogged about it and called it cute. My Mom made sure to e-mail me about her disapproval. I had a big eye roll as well!!

    Lining -- I don't line them with anything. It's just two pieces of flannel together.

    I love the color combo on these and the surprise of the skulls. :D My nephew wants Harleys or Pirates for his new baby and I just can't do it. ;)
