It's Never to Late to Start


Deadlines. I don't like deadlines.
That's why if I don't start a Christmas project by July, I just don't even go there.

But I have a sweet, sweet friend that doesn't think like that at all. The week of Christmas is the perfect time to make a quilt or a puppet stage or make a lot of other gifts.
Actually it works out really well, because I don't have any projects to finish, because I didn't start any! :-) So sure, let's sew.
We whipped up these Sweet Sixteen table toppers for her mom & mother-in-law (I need to press them a little more). Love this pattern. It's fast.
Love the pattern so much, I made two.



Plus I do have a 'thing' for little squares.

You too can make some, there are kits in the store.
The kits feature Moda's new line -- Civil War Homefront.

Met the deadline with 4 days to spare....ahhhhh.

    We are so totally sisters. I'm exactly the same way. I think it's my oppositional defiency in fine form.

    Those are really cute!! What are WE going to work on when I get there????

    I'm of the "wait until the last week" branch of our tree - which is why I am having a panic attack because a certain gift went the way of figgy pudding this evening. Hopefully I can pull something together very soon!

    that's a great rule you have there. maybe i'll follow it next year! i have this don't-ask-me-to-do-anything-for-you-after-Oct.-1st-rule. i like yours better.
