  1. First, I love the Coppertone color combo! We definitely use our share of sunscreen here in Arizona, and it is definitely nearing that time...Time to stock up on the Hawaiian Tropic! I am so ready!!

  2. Mmmmmmmm, the smell of Cocoa Butter. Did you ever use the little bars of Hershey's Cocoa Butter for tanning?? How about Baby Oil with drops of iodine mixed in?? I don't think sunscreen smells good anymore - maybe because now it is sunscreen rather than sun tan lotion that I use. I really only had a great tan ONE time, the summer I spent watching my two young nephews and all they wanted to do was swim - all day every day. Darn boys ;) That was Riverside, CA. 1976?

  3. I live in TEXAS! Coppertone me now! Love the beautiful fabrics!

  4. That was my first thought when I saw the title. For me, in a few weeks time we are going for a long needed holiday by the seaside. Dad&brothers for golfing and me&kids the beach and pool. For mum, the food and the room itself (we need someone to enjoy the room)

  5. I love the smell of Hawaiian Tropic, warm coconut. Takes me back to childhood.

  6. what a great color compostion,
and sry but I cant talk about suntan lotion, coz I have never used it, and Im not sure if its available here in germany.

  7. Funnily enough I just bought some! I went past it in the supermarket and it took me back to sunny beaches when I used to use that brand (before the kiddie lotions took over..this one is a bit oily..) I used to love the smell and the oiliness (is that a new word?)... I looked...$25 a bottle... (converted from pounds here in the UK)... did I get some? seeing it is grey very cold and miserable here at the moment... well... you can always hope for better weather can't you? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hmmm suntan lotion? Don't think we will have any need for it here for a while, winter has hit and we have seen the last of nice sunny days for a while!

    ReplyDelete
  9. When I hear coppertone I always think of the little girl with the dog pulling at her bathingsuit bottom :) I love the coppertone fabrics & especially the quilt!! Maybe I will be the lucky winner on my B-day today....fingers crossed!!!

  10. We don't use Suntan lotion down here in NZ, too close to the hole in the Ozone layer, we have to use Sunblock :-( We are now into autumn now, so doesn't matter. I love those colours, they remind me of Autumn.

  11. Coppertone! Brings back such good memories. Love the smell of that stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I used to wear Sea and Ski as a cologne. I just thought it smelled great. That was in the
70's. I don't even know if they make it anymore. Now I love Coppertone. I always think of the seashore.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Mmmm...just saying the name takes me back to my childhood, when we used to lather ourselves in suntan lotion, lay out on the driveway with aluminum foil bent around our faces. And sizzle. Boy, were we idiots. Luckily no one I know has skin cancer from that yet!! Beautiful colors!

    ReplyDelete
  14. We live in Florida so sun tan lotion is a "hot" topic here. For whatever activity, we need tanning or blocking lotion. I do love the coconut smell. Lovely fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh, I would love to win the quilt pattern! I have been wanting to try this. I always use suntan lotion if I'm somewhere hot. I don't lay out in the sun here at home but I do like to if I'm on a trip. Just relax and soak it all in. Although I don't have a lot of patience to lie there very long. So, I'm flipping a lot!:) I too love the smell of coconut- kind of takes you off to another place.:) Thanks for the chance and have a great day!

  16. I remember the ads for Coppertone suntan lotion when I was a child. You know the one, the little girl with the dog exposing her white tushy. No matter what suntan lotion I used, I have NEVER had a tan. The Irish heritage won on that part. I always think it is a shame I didn't get some color from my Cherokee ancestors.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I remember making my own suntan lotion by adding some iodine to a bottle of baby oil. Can't believe we all used to do it and then lay out in the sun for hours and hours.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I still buy shampoo that smells like Coppertone! I'm such a sucker for sunny, summery smelling things!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh the smell of Coppertone brings back my childhood. Lovely color combo on thie Coppertone quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Didn't need much suntan lotion around here last summer, but hopefully this year will be different! thanks for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I probably don't wear enough sunscreen! I always seem to forget when I leave the house, although I've yet to get a bad burn and maybe if I did I'd remember!

Love the colours - they're gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I was so happy when they came out with the spray-on suntan lotion. I have 7 kids, and it would take FORever to get them all lotioned up to go to the pool. Now it's much, much faster.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Nice colors! I don't use suntan lotion because I have a natural tan, lol.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I can remember when it was still a "cool thing" to slather ourselves with the heavenly smelling Hawaiian Tropic and if you didn't have that, baby oil worked just as well. And they both worked even better if you used them while laying out on the trampoline or on the roof!

    ReplyDelete
  25. love the richness in those colors. Suntan lotion...a smell I associate with summer.

    ReplyDelete
  26. oooh. i'm so confused. just when i make a decision on what to use for this pattern. you tease me with something gorgeous like this. what am i gonna do now. i love that special non-greasy suntan lotion made just for the face. but mostly can't live with it. can't live without it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh I love that new coppertone color line.
Living here in the ozarks of missouri, now retired from northern Illinois, the sun is much hotter than we are used to-so I definately put on my suntan lotion everyday when outside working in the garden, or taking a walk in our woods, I love my lavender sunblock the best

    ReplyDelete
  28. I love the name of this line plus the colors. Coppertone is definitely the right name for them.

I like the Vintage Circle quilt pattern too. Looks like lots of fun!

I always equate the smell of coconut with my Grandmother. She was always wearing the suntan lotion that smelled like coconuts. I just recently bought suntan lotion (spray on) for the kids from Coppertone. We were expecting that same familiar smell but instead it smelled like hair spray. A bit depressing for all of us.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Do you know I use the off-brand unscented stuff? It is far cheaper on the budget so I can afford more....guess it...FABRIC!!
We've already been experiencing some very warm temps here and applying our sunscreen. Coppertone is a fantastic color combo!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Love that color combo and my granddaughter does too. I have a family full of fair skinned Irish red heads. Sunscreen is all over our world, in the park tote bags, in the car often in my purse!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I remember the kids squirming to go outside and jumping around while I tried to load them up with sunscreen. Now they both go to tanning beds. sigh...

    Love the coppertone colors..

    ReplyDelete
  32. Coppertone brings back to mind lazy summer days of childhood and those wonderful commercial with the little girl and her dog. Love the fabric colors!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Now it's called sunscreen and we need to use it to prevent skin cancer. But do you remember when we used suntan lotion and the whole point was to get as dark as possible. We used coopertone cocoa butter, it came in a little can type thing, or even worse baby oil. Now I spend my time trying not to tan!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love the suntain lotion that smells like coconut...and oh those colors in the fabrics really do look like copper!

    ReplyDelete
  35. love the colors in that. I am so longing for the beach this time of year.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hmm, I don't suntan, and having really sensitive skin means I can't survive the summer without a lot of sunscreen!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Do you remember when we used BABY OIL rather than suntan lotion? Or when we tried the self tanning lotion for the first time and had orange steaks all over our bodies! Wow - those were the days.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I always hate putting sunscreen on because at the end of the day it becomes obvious where I have forgotten to put it on.

    ReplyDelete
  39. My entire family are like little ghosts living in Texas! We are so pale and my teenage girls hate it, but I make them wear BullFrog...the BEST sunblock I have ever found. When I was younger, I lived next door to a lady that sunbathed every single day around their backyard pool. She was probably 50ish but looked 80ish from her leather skin. So it's not only skin cancer I worry about, but alligator skin!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Okay so I am gonna be a bummer. Stay out of the sun... if you have to go into the sun use high SPF sunblock. I had Melamona and you don't want it. Or the chemo...or the scars. I never tanned. I hated laying out in the sun. I was only in the sun when I was swimming (Which was all of the time) but even though I never tried to sunbathe I got cancer. I was only in my mid thirties. I usually try to be light and funny in my responses but I just can't be about this. On the bright side I love the combo of fabrics in your Coppertone pack... really pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I love the fabric combo....it reminds me more of August (in IN & OH that seems to be the hottest month).

Now about the sunscreen...I have very fair skin, which burns easily (I don't get the copper/tan skin tone, it's more of a pink/red tone), so my solution is Neutrogena SPF 70...if they make a higher SPF, i'd most likely buy it. I embrace the pale skin and try not to were anything too dark to make it more noticable.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I love sunscreen, the smell is so summery. When I learned how to say sunscreen in German classes in High School, I had a close friend from Germany. She was in the US as an exchange student. Her mom would call and ask to talk to her American friend, knowing full well I couldn't say much. I would tell her mom things like "I am a girl, I need suntan lotion" in German. We had fun coming up with random sentences to surprise her with each week :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. There is nothing like the smell of Coppertone to take me back to being a kid in Southern California. We'd coat ourselves in that stuff and sleep for hours in the sun. Now, of course, I use sunscreen with 1000+ SPF like a "responsible adult." Oh well...thanks for the run down memory lane!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lovely color combination!
...Although I hate suntan lotion. It's probably one of the reasons I don't go so often to the beach! I'm really scared of sunburns, but hate the stickiness of suntan lotion, so lots of summers without beach for me!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Love the smell of suntan lotion and used a ton of it in my teenage years but now I'm more of a sunscreen gal. No more suntanning for me. I love the beach but I sit under an umbrella these days.

    thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love the smell of suntan lotion. It is so evocative of everything wonderful about summer! The smell reminds me of my ahem, misspent youth!
    Thanks for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ONCE (and I highlight ONCE) tried the suntan lotion with bronzer on my arms and ended up with fantastic orange lines up and down my pale skin. From then on 50+ for me.

BUT I LOVE this fantastic fabric!!I would love to win!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I used my first dose of lotion over the weekend, sitting by the creek. I have a feeling I'm going to go through buckets of it this summer.

    ReplyDelete
  49. My sisters use to use tanning oil and lay in the back yard basking in the sun. I hated the heat and didn't want to lay there for more than a few mins. Now that I am older and a Mom, I would kill my daughter if she ever put something like that on her skin. Skin cancer is such a scary think to me. So now it is SPF 50 and I am really big into keeping coated and now that it is the Hot season please check to make sure that your sunscreen hasn't exprired!!!! Very Important!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Fist off....and I don't want to hear any gasps...I don't use suntan lotion.....sorry.....I know I should but I don't....but I do love the warm beautiful coppertone colors.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I went to Hawaii in 1976 and "discovered" Hawaiian Tropics" suntan lotion. Absolutely love the smell--tropical. Makes me want to go back!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Can't wait for the warm weather to stick and sit outside in the sun reading a nice book.
Tanning lotion, well I really don't have my "own". I always just use what I have for the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I love the smell of Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion. Hmm... Thanks for the chance at a great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I am making a baby quilt with that pattern as we speak, yours is lovely! Sunscreen...always have it with me here in Eastern WA and being a momma I am always applying it to my little ones!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Great giveaway! We used to use Coppertone to "lay out" in the 80's in our tiny strip of side yard. My sister could always tan right up and I always stayed white or bright red! Of course my skin looks better now (shhh! Don't say anything to her!)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Those Coppertone colors are gorgeous!!

I used to love the smell, but now I just try to stay out of the sun when possible. I don't do well in the heat and burn easily, too. So now it's sunscreen not suntan lotion. I think if God had wanted me tanned, he would have made me that way!!

  57. Coppertone is great, but the fabric selection you have chosen is even better! Now if I could just come up with some fabrics to go with my Neutrogena sunscreen, I'd be in summertime heaven! (Sorry, but Neutrogena is the only kind my dermatolotist recommends for my sensitive skin. 8-) )

    ReplyDelete
  58. Love the Coppertone colours! As for suntan lotion that is a blast from the past! Slathering myself with it, unfortunatley I am a (or was) a red head so all it did for me was to create one big freckled burnt up kiddo! It's sunscreen big time now! Thanks for having such a great give away Sharonj.

    ReplyDelete
  59. That is a great color combo. About sunscreen... I need it. I am so white that if I go out into the sun without sun screen i will be hot, uncomfortable and peeling for the next few weeks. Any brand will do for me, just as long as I have it!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I love the colors and fabric you put together. So pretty! I love the smell of suntan lotion at the beach. It is SO summer!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm lucky to have come of age after the dangers of skin cancer were well known, so all my memories are of trying not to get burnt rather than trying to get tan. Being naturally extraordinarily pale doesn't hurt either. I use SPF 15 on a daily basis and something stronger if I'm going to be exposed to the sun for a long stretch. Somehow, I do manage to get a slight but noticeable tan through the sunblock, but it's better than the horrible burn I would otherwise get.

    ReplyDelete
  62. My second daughter was a Coppertone baby knock-off ~ blond curls, pudgy cheeks. I'm still kicking myself for not setting up a picture with a puppy...

    ReplyDelete
  63. i love, love the smell of coconut scented lotion! i am longing for the sun too!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I have a very strong dislike for sunscreen. Of any kind. I just hate that greasy feeling all over you. But seeing how I have very fair skin and live in Arizona, I suppose I will be continuing to use it. Thanks for the giveaway.

  65. I love the color combo. When I was in Jr. High we didn't use suntan lotion, we didn't need it as long as we had baby oil! I just taught this quilt at a retreat last weekend, most everyone completed theirs. Fun and fast.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I love the smell of Coppertone. It takes me back to when I was kid and we used to lay on blankets in the yard trying to tan. Then we'd walk 2 blocks to the public beach and buy popcorn. A bag of popcorn was a nickel and my mom always said "I can't afford to give you girls nickels every day". That's how old I am.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Love those colors!
I really like the smell of the Banana Boat lotions, and any that have the coconut smell. I'm also ready for summer and looking forward to getting the boat out so I can use some suntan lotion.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well being a redhead I must wear sunscreen! If I don't it is not pretty or comfortable! I love the sun but the sun does not love me :( I am thankful for sweet smell of sunscreen in the summer! I love the colour palette you picked out for this post, it is lovely!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I remember when suntan lotion used to just be "baby oil". But I'm dating myself here. I'm truly grateful (now that I am getting old and wrinkled) for suntan lotion with spf30!!

  70. After the winter we've had here in Nebraska, I'd love to go anywhere that requires suntan lotion all day every day!. Love the vintage circles pattern. Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Wow! Great fabric. I hate sunscreen but have to wear it with my pasty white complexion! I am so happy that they now make it in lotion so it isn't that greasy thick stuff!

  72. Isn't it wonderful that it is almost time for SUNTAN LOTION !
    Thanks so for sharaing!

  73. We only do 70+ spf at our house. We don't have fair skin, but living a life under the sun in sunny Cali leaves us no option if we want to be skin cancer free.

Do you replace your sunscreen every year? Some bottles say 3...some say every season. I never know so I always re-buy.....

I don't care if my kids get golden brown or not...I know that their skin won't wrinkle up by 12. =)

    ReplyDelete
  74. I just sprayed some kids down with sunscreen. Is smells so much like summer. I know it is bad for me but if I know I am going to be out in the sun for awhile...(look around make sure no one is listening)I like the sun tan oil. Has such a good smell. I love summer! SIGHHHH!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Love the Coppertone! Remember when we used to get the one with the blue lid (the oil!) and smear it on ourselves and deliberately bake all day? Yikes, we thought that was such a good idea at the time! Well, I don't need Coppertone this week thanks to the 9" of snow that fell yesterday....but I could sure use that pattern to go along with the template set I already have!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Although I love the warm weather I am not a sun worshipper. I can work in my flower beds or garden for a while but to just lay in the sun is not for me. I can develop wrinkles easy enough without the help of the sun burning me and I don't want the leather skin.

Love the fabrics. They do remind me of the warm summer and fall.

    lsandes@comcast.net

    ReplyDelete
  77. HAHA! Suntan lotion in my house is not even an option! :o) I use 90 SPF due to my super fair skin. Neutrogena makes a fabulous facial sunblock that goes on with a matte finish- it's fabulous. I'm ready for summer weather too.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Here in Alaska, we don't use much suntan lotion. I do have a sunblock stick that I love though. It's from Neutrogena and it's a stick like deoderant. It smells like oranges and I love it.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Oh, the lazy days of our youth.....sunning without guilt! Actually, I did have some guilt as my father was a dermatologist and always despaired of my sinful ways: now as a parent, I can only imagine the anguish I caused him as I made suntan oil with baby oil and iodine and baked myself literally with that and tin foil.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Ooh, great fabric, I'm off to buy one of the charm packs now, that might end up being perfect for a preggo friend :)

Suntan lotion? Yeah, definitely use in Cali (so the point where we always have a bottle available in each vehicle), but need to be a bit more religious about it!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Fun!! Love the colors and the prints! So ready for sun and warm! Still getting some crazy snow showers in Alaska! Bring on SUMMER! becsbags@me.com

  85. Oooooo...the smell of Coppertone evokes a zillion beach memories for a Florida gal! It's as familiar as the smell of orange blossoms! Probably the strongest scent to bring on fun memories EVER!! Polly

    ReplyDelete
  86. I am supposed to wear sunblock every day because I live in California and am as pale as a . . . well, something very pale. Probably not the right kind of comment? How about when you go down to teh beach the smell of coconut oil, suntan lotion, and sea water hits you about 3 blocks up. It smells delicious, it smells like summer.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Suntan lotion is a four letter word around here but sunscreen on the other hand is a necessity! Someone just asked on our social email list here at work for a good sunscreen for fair skin to use on the face. I've always had good luck with Coppertone Sport! They have an awesome continuous spray one that goes on powdery and never gets sticky or sweats off.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Oh I love that fabric combo! At first it made me think of autumn, but after you mentioned Coppertone~ oh yeah, that's it! :-) I had a friend that used to use real butter for her 'tanning secret'. :-o I wonder what she looks like today? :-)) I like the baby suntanning lotions, they smell pretty good. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  89. During high school I was a lifeguard and NEVER wore sunscreen. I wanted to get as tan as possible. I'm only 25 now and I already have awful wrinkles. I wish I could go back in time and wear sunblock!! jdouglaslarsen@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  90. Mention Coppertone and I can smell the beach! It reminds me of going to the beach as a kid with my dad and brothers and bodysurfing.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Love that pattern and the fabric color! Never used suntan lotion in my life!!!! Lived in northern Maine all my life and face it, the sun is not excruciatingly hot here....and besides I tan quite easily on my own.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Wonderful fabric and a fun pattern.
I had to buy sunscreen this morning. What an overwhelming experience. The was an entire 1/2 aisle of every type you could imaging. I ended up just closing my eyes and picking some.

    ReplyDelete
  93. The colors are great. I remember when I was a kid my mom would smear on sunscreen and I'd be almost white from all the goop.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Absolutely one of the best smells in the world!!! I would love to have this fabric, what a beautiful quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Suntan lotion- how funny because most people now call it sunscreen- but we always called it suntan lotion. In Oregon there seemed no need for sunscreen in the summer- or ever! We used baby oil and tried very hard to get tans! It took a lot of work in Oregon unless you were out on the rivers all day every day.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Love the suntan lotion coconut smell, ahhh!!!, it's so yummy!, love the fabrics, look summery, exactly the weather we're having this months here, but next month's going to be over :( *sigh*

  99. suntan lotion huh? I wear it daily. it's my friend. even in the winter in the harsh Canadian climates, the sun is a danger.
Yes. I'm a nut, but skin cancer is a big risk in our family.
so me and coppertone? we go waaaaay back :)

now that fabric assortment on the other hand...
well I think we're going to have to get acquainted!

    Beautiful choices!

    ReplyDelete
  102. I love the smell of Coppertone lotion, it justs yells "SUMMER!"
They now have a candle that smells like that when you burn it!
    Can't wait for summer...

  103. Today my grandniece told us a story of how to have a safe Spring break: using sun screen (Coppertone), wearing a hat, drinking water, using chap stick, etc. We live in Florida so it is good that a 4 year old learns this at school. Your coppertone colors also remind me of Arizona - the colors of the earth and flowers. I miss it and would enjoy winning the giveaway. mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com

  104. Love the coppertone fabric and pattern. Have had skin cancer so know the importance of a good suntan lotion.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Did you know you're supposed to put sunscreen on 15 to 20 minutes before exposure? I didn't know upon I had a surgery on my face and was told by my surgeon! Anyway, I love the Coppertone inspired fabric and love your shop!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I once went skiing and missed some spots with the sunscreen on my face. I had a nicely patterned and burned face, you could completely tell where I had missed the sunscreen. I've learned to be much more careful

    ReplyDelete
  107. The smell of coopertone always takes me to to the beach but no matter how much I put on I always sunburned so now always use sunblock or stay out of sun

    ReplyDelete
  108. I wish suntan lotion had a guarantee that it would actually get you tan...but alas, I am super white and have to wear baby sunblock (SPF 50) for the rest of my life. And I love the smell of it, so I guess it isn't that bad :)

    ReplyDelete
  109. I love the smell- so much that I bought sunscreen gak as a kid

  110. I love the colours of the fabrics!

I don't use suntan lotion but I do use sunscreen. But not lotion, I much prefer the spray. So much less gucky on the hands. Especially when I have to sunscreen all the little ones too.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Hmm, a comment on suntan lotion. Honestly? I hate the stuff - sticky and messy. Cute title though, and yummy fabric and pattern. :)

  112. My suntan lotion got thrown out in December when I was at the airport on my way to Egypt. I forgot to pack it in my checked luggage and it was more that 100ml. Ooops. What can ya do?

  113. Tan don't burn, get a Coppertone tan. Now you've got that darn jingle going through my head. Help!!!`

  114. I bought spray suntan lotion this year for the kids...fingers are crossed that it was not a very bad idea! love the colors in your post!

  115. Bain de Soleil gel was the tanning lotion to die for when my friends and I made it to the beach because it smelled so good. We were also big on a mix of baby oil and mercurochrome. Love the Coppertone theme. Hope I win. Thanks.

  116. No suntan lotion any more, we use sunscreen in AZ. (Sorry, not the coppertone brand). But hey, love the colors in the fabrics. I would like the pattern if I won.

  117. Love the coppertone shades of fabric. I love the smell of Coppertone suntan lotion but I don't use any at all, just sunblock, big hats and covered skin I don't want to get spots and wrinkles and sunglasses to protect my eyes so I won't develop cataracts...

Is any of that prevention stuff working, I sure hope so!

  118. I seldom use suntan lotion...if ever. I work in the yard but cover up enough that the sun isn't dangerous. But I'm also the nagging mom telling everyone else to wear it!

  119. I can remember using Baby Lotion instead of sun screen as a teen!! Crazy, hm?? That stuff surely didn't help protect our skin! Now a days I can't sit in the sun at all, my skin is just too sensitive.

I LOVE those new fabrics. The colors are gorgeous.

  120. Can't wait for Summer! I've been using sunscreen lotion on my face every day for over 10 years now. Just a FPS 15 but I'm pretty sure in the long run, it will be beneficial to help reduce wrinkles.(fingers crossed!)

  121. Bring on the Coppertone! Just came back from Kauai and although I know the suntan I brought home will leave lovely little sun marks, I love looking down and not seeing chubby white legs. Thanks for the giveaway!

  122. Coppertone....use it, but never come remotely close to becoming the color of copper, but love the fabric!!!

  123. Ahhh, I am in heaven. Not only thinking about the smell of summer, (aka coppertone,) but drooling over the amazing fabrics in your coppertone. Bring on the heat and summer fun. In Idaho it finally reached 70' today. I cannot wait!

  124. Coppertone fabric line is gorgeous. I need to wear sun screen lotion because of the freckles I get in the sun. I have red hair and fair skin so I don't tan...just freckles! It is warming up here in Nebraska but I will stay in the shade when the sun comes out.

  125. Just thinking about how much prettier the fabrics are than the way I look in the sun, all red and blotchy, and burnt.

  126. Suntan lotion in the shops is a sign that we are in for some hot weather. Bring it on. I wonder what the latest and best will be this year. Which scent goes with the spf I need. Will I smell like cocoa butter this year or a yummy summer fruit.

I definitely would love to win the Coppertone Fabric Giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity!

  127. I love the smell of Coppertone lotion. it reminds me of going to Elgin, IL to see my Aunt Pat and her family. Weeping willow trees, the quarry to swim in, fishing...it takes me back with every sniff.

  128. I wish they made perfume that smelled like suntan lotion- I would wear it all year long. It would make those crappy frigid Utah winter days more pleasant.

    Fun fabric!

  129. I'm a VERY old Coppertone user. I now use there sunscreen after years of sun abuse. This fabric is beautiful with a fun name.
