My Kind of Snowman

Everybody loves a snowman,
especially a sugar cookie one!

These are definitely family friendly,
everybody can help.
Fast.
Easy.

The kids made a bunch for them
and I made some for our Quilt Group Party.
They taste good too!
Chocolate chip eyes, mini chip mouth,
Lifesavers, licorice rope & a big gumdrop cut up for his nose.
Gummisavers would have worked well for his earmuffs too.

I'd like another one.
I'd like to make (and eat) cookies every day.
That's really the only thing that tempts me...cookie dough.

Happy Baking!

  5. The sugar cookie dough is a basic one, but I couldn't quickly find it online. 1c. butter -softened, 3/4c sugar, 1 large egg, 1 t. vanilla, 2 3/4c. flour, 1t. baking soda, 1t. cream of tartar. 350 for 8-10 min. Makes 3 dozen.

  8. Those are adorable -- so much cuter than doing those cookie cutters that seem to grow into some mishapen form of their original cut. Kind of like the blob! Thanks for this cute idea. Love the blog!
