ReplyDeleteNothing much to say about frosting except that it tastes fabulous and it covers craters wonderfully... :o)

Lemon Buttercream Frosting on a blueberry muffin is my fav!!!!! Thanks for sharing! The fabrics are DARLING!
ReplyDeleteI always have a problem biting into a cupcake with frosting..especially strawberry ! I'm going to have the same problem with this cupcake fabric..it's too yummylicious to cut into!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie :)
Frosting? I think we call it icing! Anyway in my house it's compulsory - as is licking out the bowl!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway
Frosting can give an extra layer of taste or just enhance the great taste of a cupcake. We try to make all diferrent decorations and frosting for cupcakes, which makes it harder to choose which to taste.
ReplyDeleteIcing is mandatory for all cakes. I think my children would just love icing in a patty pan without the icing.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a print like this in my life! what a beauty.
ReplyDeleteNot to keen on frosting but my kids love it straight out of the bowl!
ReplyDeleteWhen I eat cakes or cupcakes, me and my kids actually avoid the frosting! Too sweet I think. Weird rite?
ReplyDeletefrosting is the great fun of cupcakes! I love trying new variations, and my 2yo daughter loves watching!
ReplyDeleteFrosting?? Mmm well first it's called icing where I come from, and second it's the best thing on the cake!! Thanks for a chance to win. Linda
ReplyDeletelemon frosting with crunchy sugar crystals yummmmmmeeeeeee just like this fabric. Loving the blog
ReplyDeleteMmmm lemon icing made with lemon juice and zest of a lemon....spine tingling on the tongue and oh soooo tempting iced onto a lemon cake:) Barb.
ReplyDeleteHmmm..frosting, well, since I am gluten free, it is hard to find any that tastes really good!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the fabric!
Love, love, love chocolate icing, and I LOVE this delicious cupcake fabric.
ReplyDeleteChristine M luv2sew50@yahoo.com
I'm not a frosting fan but I really like this lovely fabric.
ReplyDeleteFrosting makes the cupcake! Who wants a cupcake without frosting?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite frosting is Creme Cheese frosting - with a cherry on top of course.
ReplyDeletecupcakes, too cute!!! I can see some pillow cases or a fun apron out of these.mmm... frosting what's not to love?
ReplyDeleteButter cream for me! Toss in chocolate and I am in heaven.
ReplyDeleteFrosting? I feel about cake with no frosting like I feel about decaf coffee--what's the point? I love these fabrics!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, I love Alexander Henry! and frosting or even icing. my favorite is real old fashion butter cream. NOT butter cream flavored!!
ReplyDeleteCream cheese frosting on devil's food cake. YUMMMY! I should be thinking about protein at this hour, not sugar! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe only icing I do is lemon icing. But I am always amazed to see all those great frostings and icings out there!Great fabric!
ReplyDeleteFrosting...love it!! I make an amazing cooked chocolate frosting that goes on a Chocolate Texas Sheetcake that can also be used as fudge. Divine!
ReplyDeleteI learned to make cream cheese frosting from my Grandmother. She had a stroke when I was young and always pressed the "older" youngsters into service to help with Christmas baking. I love making cream cheese frosting. It reminds me of Grannie.
ReplyDeleteI love my grandmothers seafoam frosting - on a chocolate cake! Mmmm thanks for the delicious giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy other love is most definitely making cupcakes, especially the decorating part! My friend and I made what we thought was the most amazing Chocolate Frosting last week- it had just over half a block of dark chocolate in it! I also love lemon icing to the point where I could probably eat it on its own :) Thanks for the giveaway, love the fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love store bought icing in the little canister. Every time I try to make homemade icing I wish I would have used store bought :)
ReplyDeleteI love the premade frosting with sprinkles in it! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteFrosting? Gotta be chocolate, rich yummy milk chocolate!
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is just too cute!
MGM
I don't like frosting on my cupcakes, but I like it by itself. Weird, huh? And, I like it mixed in with the crumbled cake to make cake balls. Makes no sense.
ReplyDeleteLove the cupcake fabric!
My daughter loves to eat cupcakes... which really means she loves to eat the frosting off and then asks for another one! Love this fabric!
ReplyDeleteWhat yummy and fun fabric.
ReplyDeleteOhh. I love a good buttercream on my cupcakes. Buttercream is sweet, but on cupcakes you get just the right amount. I also like to eat my cupcakes upside down so I get to eat the frosting goodness very last. I break off the bottom eat it then go in for the top...weird I know. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have to confess to a love of the lite airy marshmallow frosting that used on baked goods...the more the better:)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun fabric!!! I love chocolate frosting especially chocolate with chopped nuts. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteChocolate. Really, no need to say more!
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny to have cupcake fabrics this week...just a few hours ago I was reading a blog about the best cupcakes at Disney World. They are certainly a hot topic today.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a frosting gal. I like just the plain cupcakes. But there's usually someone who IS a frosting person nearby who is happy to scoop mine off. Works out beautifully!
Cupcakes are so popular right now. Cupcakes stores popping up all over the place. Frosting...yummy goodness...love a good cream cheese frosting!
ReplyDeletechocolate frosting - chocolate cake

less cake .... More Frosting!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite frosting is the cream cheese frosting on a red velvet cake. Yum!
ReplyDeleteFrosting is the best part! thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteButter Cream is my favorite frosting.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of a cupcake is the frosting! I LOVE this fabric....it would look adorable on my dollies!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Megan
Chocolate frosting---between grahm crackers. Trade you for some cupcake fabric ;)
ReplyDeleteFrosting: It's what's for breakfast! (No, seriously, have a heavily frosted cupcake, or try it on a graham cracker in the morning and it's impossible to have a bad day!)
ReplyDeleteThe thicker and gooier ( spelling) the better. Love the fabrics!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate frosting is the best. The more, the better!
ReplyDeleteFrosting is the best part of a cupcake - especially if it's lemon!
ReplyDeleteI love anything covered with a homemade cream cheese frosting. The cupcake fabby is darling! Hope I win some.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite frosting is cream cheese -- 1 stick of butter, 1 8oz thing of cream cheese, a tsp vanilla, and a pound (half a bag) of confectioner's sugar. So delicious!
ReplyDeleteIcing is my favorite part of a cupcake - chocolate, vanilla, cream cheese, strawberry - I will eat any of them! The cupcake fabric is cute - can see it for a little girl's quilt. alternate email mlwright29 (at)hotmail (dot)com
ReplyDeleteI wish I liked frosting more... I usually have to scrape most of it off to eat my cake. Luckily, I have a five year old who will gladly enjoy it for me!
ReplyDeleteI just loooooooove the cupcakes. I love a good fudge icing on brownies
ReplyDeletehttp://averagequilter.blogspot.com/
I love good frosting! Especially creamy homemade frosting!
ReplyDeletehisprincess886(at)yahoo(dot)com
ooooh, YUM!!! Frosting and cupcakes are definitely NOT on my diet, but luckily these are calorie-free & fat-free and high in fiber! HA!
ReplyDeletehttp://sweet-quilt-n-bee-shoppe.blogspot.com/
Ohh, I love frosting especially chocolate! So cute fabric.
ReplyDeleteCream cheese frosting on warm cinnamon rolls, cream cheese frosting on chocolate cake which has been chilled in the frig, buttercream frosting on anything....gotta go get some frosting.
ReplyDeleteWell frosting has changed since I was a young girl. We would just slop it on the cupcakes. Now it's more gourmet looking - piped with a pastry bag. Sure love eating them either way though!
ReplyDeleteI don't like chocolate frosting...give me vanilla anyday! Or lemon, or maple...I prefer the light airy frostings to the heavy buttery types too....where IS my sense of adventure?????
ReplyDeleteFrosting! It's not for cake anymore. It makes the very best S'mores and then on graham crackers and you should always keep a can of the dark chocolate in your cupboard or medicine chest. Eat it right out of the can for those chocolate attacks or if your endorfins are low.
ReplyDeleteI just eat the cupcake for the FROSTING!! Love it. Ij wish I didn't so much.
ReplyDeleteButter cream frosting---frosting is JUST PLAIN GOOD though no matter what kind:) Yummoooo!
ReplyDeleteMy mom made the best chocolate frosting (we call it icing really). I try to make it like hers but mine always turns out lumpy and not really like hers! Gotta lick the bowl when you are thru with the cake! YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteI like Lorraine's (comment #64) idea about the dark chocolate frosting! =)

My husband thinks that homemade frosting is the best and I like store-bought frosting. Luckily, I'M the one who does the shopping and makes the cakes! ;)
ReplyDeleteFrosting for a carrot cake - use cream cheese. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite frosting is homemade with butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, and a little milk!
ReplyDeleteBummer on the no Ghastlies part :( I'm still having a hard time cutting my Ghastlies fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes, however, too stinkin cute! What a cute quilt that would make!
My favorite frosting is the cool whip kind! Yum!!!
frosting....icing...buttercream...fondant...I love it all..lol
ReplyDeleteWonderful cupcake fabric..
Frosting is one of those things our house is divided on, my oldest & his Dad can't live without it yet my youngest & I can!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics. Thank you for the chance to win.
Carolyn
homemade cream cheese frosting is where it's at! perfect for cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteoh wow! I love that cupcake fabric. Homemade chocolate frosting is the best-doesn't take that long to make-and the only way to go for me
ReplyDeleteWaaaay too cute. My favorite frosting would have to be the buttercream (on top of a chocolate cupcake).
ReplyDeletemmm cream cheese frosting is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThis fabric is darling! What a fun print for an apron. As far as frosting is concerned, I do not like royal iceing- ikk. But I'll take a butter cream or cream cheese any day. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteoh boy so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't eat frosting, or at least I try not to...too much sugar and I'm trying to lose weight!
How cute is that!!! Oh yes cream cheese frosting is my favorite :-) YUM!
ReplyDeleteyummm....frosting...chocolate frosting! Love the cupcake fabric!
ReplyDeletemy favourite frosting is cream cheese frosting that i learned from a baking class i took at a local pastry chef school a while ago... it is just heavenly..
ReplyDeleteHmm - frosting! I love it! But not the greasy kind they put on cakes at the local grocery store! Yuck! Favorites: Cream cheese or chocolate. Yum! This is making me hungry....
ReplyDeleteLove the cupcake fabric! It's awesome! :)
What a fun print! Thanks for hosting giveaways. I love plain melted chocolate chips. Never tried it on cupcakes though....
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cupcakes! Frosting... is heavenly, and when you start eating it, you can't stop!
ReplyDeleteiLOVE FROSTING . anytthing with frosting is better. I love cookies with frosting, linda gerig
ReplyDeleteA comment about frosting ... *smile*
ReplyDeleteWhen I got my first Muffin/Cupcake-recipe-book here in Germany, I had to search 'frosting' in the internet. Did not have the foggiest idea, what they meant with this :-D
Greetings, Fredda
Well I love cream cheese frosting. LOVE it. Funny though because I don't like cream cheese. Well, I'm a sugar lover, so anything with sugar is IN. The fabric looks sweet, and hey non fattening.. what could be better.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I think I'd die and gone to heaven with this cutest fabric, I have a weakness and certainly it's frosting, all kinds and specially lemon frosting, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummmmmmmmmmmmyyyyy!!!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate, chocolate, chocolate and lots of it!
ReplyDeleteI make lemon-lime cupcakes with the besttttt frosting.... mmmm... cream cheese, cool whip, lemon zest, lime juice.... SOOOO GOOD! =)
ReplyDeleteWe love frosting! We are going to add some frosting to chocolate cupcakes tonight in honor of national chocolate cake day!
ReplyDeleteMy comment about frosting..... "yes, please!" Made from scratch frosting is always best, but I won't be turning down any type that's offered, that's for sure. Of course, my fav is chocolate on yellow cake. Mmmm Hmmmm..... must go bake now. Thanks for the giveaway! Toot a loo!
ReplyDeleteI have found that leftover frosting is good on so many other things... graham crackers, cookies, apples, cinnamon rolls... and cream cheese frosting is my all time favorite. :o)
ReplyDeleteI usually spend more time licking the frosting out of the bowl than I did on the cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteChocolate frosting is best chilled, eaten off a spoon! Better than fudge.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm frosting - best on cake, cupcakes and scraping from the bowl!! Love the cupcake fabric soooo cute!! Thanks for this sweet giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI love it but it has to be the good stuff, made with real butter or cream cheese. A little of it goes a long way for me. Such cute fabric!
ReplyDeletemet you at the quilt show! Love cupcakes! Love frosting....cinnamon buttercream is a favorite! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love cupcakes. I was watching a baking show where they were demonstrating how to make the frosting high in the center with a swirl. They start with a bigger blog underneath and then use a pastry/frosting bag and keeping going around the cupcake to frost it. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteEverything is always better with frosting on top! Butter cream fosting, cream cheese frosting, chocolate frosting ... need I go on? lol Thank you ... the cupcakes are adorable :)
ReplyDeleteBest part of the cupcake, sometimes... Especially when it's light and fluffy, covered with sprinkles, and, according to my daughters, preferably pink!
ReplyDeletewhite mountain frosting on chocolate cake is the best. the cupcakes are so cute. i like the little gray one the best. looks kinda like a monster cupcake. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing fabric -- I love it! I totally want to make an apron out of it. Mmmm, frosting...I love it. I actually happen to have a jar of frosting in my desk drawer at work -- long story, but I promise it's not just there for snacking ;) The snow can stop frosting the ground here in New England ANY TIME though.
ReplyDeleteA cupcake is not complete without frosting. :-)
ReplyDeleteCream cheese frosting is good on any kind of cake!!
ReplyDeletei don't know why anyone would choose to have that whipped frosting over butter cream...i mean, really?
ReplyDeleteAn added flavor to plain sugar cookies is Almond Extract added to the icing! Really changes the blandness! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletejldouglas@wispwest.net
As my kids tell me, " everything is better with frosting on it".
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that thinks store bought frosting is gross? Ok, maybe I am. :)
ReplyDeleteTo me, frosting is totally the reason to eat cake!!!
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to cater and make wedding cakes, so we always had frosting in the freezer and dried roses in various stages of completion. I used to love it when she made more than she needed - nothing quite like a spoon full of frosting for that after school snack!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh - the frosting is the best part of any cake! But it must contain real butter! Or cream cheese ... or 7-minute frosting is good too ... hungry now ... Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh man I freaking love frosting....we've always got a can of it in the refridge just in case. Besides on cake or cupcakes, cream cheese frosting is best spread on graham crackers! Yum-O! Jenn
ReplyDeleteOh I love my frosting to be made from fresh whipped cream. I've never been a big fan of buttercream, and lately when my daughter has been making and decorating cupcakes, it has frustrated her when I've taken it off to eat the cupcake part. I told her I love her designs, I just don't like that type of frosting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway.
carol_busse at yahoo dot com
I have seen so many cute cupcakes but I don't have the patience to make those cute designs. After all it's the way they taste that makes them BEST! right?
ReplyDeleteWe prefer to eat our left over frosting on grahm crakers. It works well in lunches and after school snacks. You can dye it any color.
ReplyDeleteHi I just love cream cheese frosting on carrot cake, topped with walnut pieces as well! :)
ReplyDeletesandangels1945@hotmail.com
Just the cutest fabric.
ReplyDeleteFrosting + cupcakes = yummy. Frosting is good on everything.
Alda, Fl
My frosting is legendary in our family (if I do say so myself!) My kids and neices & nephews all request that I make the cupcakes for their birthday parties, because buttercream frosting is the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks-
Christine
I haven't met a frosting I didn't like...yum. I always eat that part first! And that cute cupcake fabric would make a great apron...yum again!
ReplyDeletei made my first batch of icing just this week for my fourth baby's first birthday. i made cinnamon buttercream icing atop banana cupcakes...heaven! i found the recipe on www.justjennrecipes.com
ReplyDeleteI've never frosted anything with a face on it, but they're sure cute!
ReplyDeletethanks!
Cute fabric! Yummmm frosting....that is my weakness. You can often find me sewing with an open jar of frosting and a spoon next to my machine. Weakness I tell ya......weak.
ReplyDeleteWay cute fabric! Okay so I have to say, I'm not a frosting fan. I love the look of decked out cupcakes, who doesn't, but for me, all the frills get in the way of all that cupcake goodness!!! Mmm, I wonder if I have some cake mix....
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable! Okay, frosting. My Aunt Eleanor (actually my dad's aunt) made the most amazing frosting. It was unlike anything Ive ever tasted! Sadly, my mom had the recipe and lost it! I'm so upset!
ReplyDeleteI'd LOVE to make some aprons with that yummy fabric and watch my girls frost some of their own cupcakes in them! THANKS for the chance!
ReplyDeleteourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com
Yum! (The fabric, although frosting is pretty delicious too.)
ReplyDeleteI like making the super simple kind of frosting -- powdered sugar, kahlua, and vodka! Hehe.
ReplyDeleteFrosting is great - I actually made Peanut butter frosting just the other night to put on top of brownies...just scoop some pb into a bowl, add confectioners sugar, then stir, gradually adding milk until the desire consistency. I like mine thicker and it reminds me of a smooth fudge on top of the brownies. =) Yum!
ReplyDeleteI love making cream cheese frosting.
ReplyDeletetshaw6580@yahoo.com
When I was little a special treat was frosting on graham crackers. I even wanted to take them for my birthday treat at school. Mom said no. I'm still a fan of frosting!
ReplyDeleteFrosting? Two words:
ReplyDeleteCREAM CHEESE
My favorite frosting is the recipe on the powdered sugar box. Maying it myself is a must.
ReplyDeleteMy son and I just made a rainbow cake (for a good laugh about rainbows go here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/dcf83410c7/insane-double-rainbow-guy )
ReplyDeletefor cub scouts. I made about a gallon of frosting today to frost it. =)
Mmm I love two words, Cream Cheese but chocolate would do or strawberry or lemon or ...
ReplyDeleteCream cheese frosting!! YUM!! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy mom makes it better than I do.
ReplyDeleteI wish my frosting looked more professional when I make cakes and cupcakes - I keep thinking I want to take a cake decorating class...
ReplyDeleteCream cheese or whipped cream frosting are my faves on cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteBright Pink and Yellow on my daughters 3rd Birthday cake. Delish, but OMG the calories!!!
ReplyDeletei make a chocolate frosting that is delish on a spoon with peanut butter!
ReplyDeleteI can't make good frosting, but I sure do like to eat it. Love the fabric!
ReplyDeletePeanut butter Frosting on Brownies are my families favorite and it's so easy to make, just take vanilla frosting and add 1/2 cup peanut butter and your done. Yum! Yum! That fabric looks sweet too.
ReplyDeleteVondaBoze@gmail.com
I looked and looked for some cupcake fabric this fall....it was hiding right here, it seems!! =)
ReplyDeleteI like White Mountain Frosting the best--especially on chocolate birthday cake. Do you think it's getting close to my b-day? Oh, yeah! Bring on the cake! ~Kathleen
ReplyDeleteI love frosting on my cookies :)
ReplyDeletecaitlindevlin(at)hotmail(dot)com
Frosting - I like the stuff in a can. I know it's full of preservatives, etc, but still yum.
ReplyDeletelaurawilson25@hotmail.com
Tomorrow I am teaching a cupcake decorating class to about 14 10 year olds. We are making about 4 cupcakes each. I need to help them with the FROSTING and toppings. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite frosting is chocolate cream cheese! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteButtercream Baby? Is there any other frosting??? Those cuppycakes are too cute. They're not the Ghastlies, but cute all the same!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm......buttercream frosting. So good. So don't need it. Love the cupcakes fabric.
ReplyDeleteI've been known to make a double batch of cream cheese frosting just so I can freeze half of it and eat it later with a spoon on those "needing something sweet..." days.
ReplyDeleteOh, frosting ... one of my favorite things ... not just on cupcakes either. This fabric is almost as yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteFrosting MUST be homemade...none of this canned stuff for me! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love pretty much all frostings. My very favorites are cream cheese, chocolate, and chocolate peanut butter.
This fabric is wonderful!
lraetaylor@gmail.com
I love swirling the frosting on top of cupcakes. Chocolate's my favorite.
ReplyDeleteheidikittelson at gmail dot com
That fabric is just so stinkin' cute! Yes, I love cupcakes, but really, it is just all about a way to eat some frosting, isn't it?? :)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen that fabric before, but I have to have some!!
ReplyDeleteI have some photos from my son's 4th birthday last month. They are of my two kids about to blow out the candles on his birthday cake, but my daughter's face is smeared with chocolate frosting. The cake still looks immaculate, and her hands are up (and clean), so I couldn't remember how her face got so messy before the cake had even been cut, so it made me laugh. :-)
When I was in kindergarten my grandma would pick me up from school and I would hang out at her house until my parents were off of work. I remember my favorite days were when she had made a cake. That's because then my after school snack would be homemade frosting on top of graham crackers. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI got fat eating Sour Cream Dark Chocolate frosting by the can. I can't find it anymore, but I didn't get skinny...........grin.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm what can I say about frosting... scratching head..., I love it and it helps me to gain some weight as well, :P, love the fabric you're giving away today!
ReplyDeleteMelba

Cream Cheese frosting is my 1st choice!!!!!! Then Buttercream is always good too! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, this is TOO cute. Buttercream frosting rocks...except I could sit down and eat a bowl full and not think twice. Oops. joleehamlin[at] comcast [dot] net
