ReplyDeleteWe are going to have Ensenada Burritos for dinner! Yummmmmmmmm! Whole pinto beans,chopped onion, cilantro,avocado, salsa and maybe some cheese for dh and ds. Dh stopped at the mex restaurant in town and got a pint of the BEST salsa. We'll have chips and guacamole as well.

ReplyDeleteAh, I live in New Mexico, so we will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo in style. We are going to have green chicken enchiladas, pinto beans, and maybe some tacos. If you ever visit New Mexico and order Mexican food, you will be asked red or green? This is not a Christmas question - they are referring to the chili - red or green! Also, we make it caliente (HOT).

ReplyDeleteWhat's for dinner? Good question. I ask my husband that every day. I just do NOT like cooking. So usually we just throw something in the oven (after taking it out of the freezer). Sometimes we might get fancy and open a can of soup or fruit, but mostly, it's frozen pizza. Or hot dogs. Or chicken nuggets. Or mac & cheese. Seriously - I love this giveaway! (Oh, but if you see a giveaway for a personal chef, please let me know!!!!) :)

ReplyDeleteI'm not having Mexican cause it's book club night and we are meeting at our favorite restaurant The Jerusalem Cafe. Best Middle Eastern Food in town. I already know what I'm ordering. Greek Salad. Hummus. Chicken Kabobs. Yum. And they don't have a liquor license so you can bring your own wine, they supply the glass. Books we are discussing-Radical, The Chosen, The Girl who played with Fire. What an assortment. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI stopped by Moe's on the way home "WELCOME TO MOE'S" and got their $3 burrito special for Cinco de Mayo. I'm really looking forward to it. And I so love the "Wee Folks" fabric - I lived in Germany for seven years, and it brings back so many beautiful memories.
ReplyDeleteOur dinner tonight will be "leftovers" of either peas and ham, vadailla (sp?) onions with hoe cakes -- or a ziti/ground beef baked casserole. Either will have sides of home grown cukes straight from my mother's garden, fresh cantalope and pineapple. At least that's what my mother the cook tells me.
