Bed Head

My oldest is headed to college next week.

Don't you think she needs a sham

to go with her new quilt & duvet?

I've never made a pillow sham.

But this little book made it super easy =

good step by step directions & measurements.

And I got to use my polka dot buttons on the back!The sham is bold;

it's a little wild & crazy.

But isn't that what

college is?

I liked working with this Tea Garden home dec fabric so much...

I made an ironing board cover for my new sewing room!

College-bound daughter has been away all summer;

she comes home Saturday!

Wonder what she'll think of her room --

aka - My New Sewing Space.

I think she and Olivia (the pistachio green sewing table)

are going to get along just great.

I did keep her bed,

just in case you were wondering.

  6. I totally have bedhead today and I don't want to do anything about it. Maybe I need new shams.

    She'll have the cutest dorm room ever.

  7. My daughter got a new place this year and using an old couch, so I thought I would make her some nice pillows to brighten it up.

Now, I've posted over here from Madame Samm's and I need to know what amount of fabric you have left of what she's making her sewing machine cover from .... the exact materials ... special project and love those choices :) Thank you!!
