Just a little stitching.
I love a good portable hand project.
Traced the images with a blue washable marker
off of this Suburbia fabric.
What do you like to use for tracing on fabric?
I put in a layer of warm & natural batting &
a layer of insulated batting.
Osnaburg is my favorite fabric for stitching.
I like how it looks,
it's more durable,
and it's especially good for kids,
because you can't see through it
(to see all the thread traveling that happens on the back.)
I hope these get used,
because I want to make more.
Now THAT is a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteCUTE!!!

ReplyDeleteYou are always making the cutest things! I love this and you know how I love embroidery. :) I use different things to trace - sometimes blue washable, sometimes a red permanent pen when it's red work I'm doing, sometimes a pencil. Different things for different pieces. blessings, marlene

ReplyDeleteThose came out really nice, love your idea of tracing from designs. I use a lot from free designs on the web, will have to look for some kitchen designs.
