I really love to give a soft blanket or rattle. I just recently started quilting and have just given 2 baby quilts as gifts. My sister is due within the next week and can not wait, this fabric would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like buy a package of pacifiers for a gift. These fabrics would make a beautiful little quilt. Thanks, Corrie!
ReplyDeleteI love to make little snuggly lap blankets as baby shower gifts. I put a square of minky in the middle and cute flannel for the rest...they always say the babies love them :)
ReplyDeleteSimple quilt that lets the fabric shine - with a flannel or minkie back for snuggly. Add a rattle or toy or stuffie and wrap in a baby towel instead of paper.
ReplyDeleteI like to make little fleece teddy bears. They are cute and washable!
ReplyDeleteI like to make play mats!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway!
I like giving sets of burp clothes and bibs! thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteSelf binding baby blanket with matching burp cloths.
ReplyDeletePerfect gift for a baby is always a cuddle quilt!
ReplyDeleteOf course, something handmade! I don't have time to sew baby quilts for all the babies being born lately (there's just too many of them!), but if I had to choose one, that would be it: a soft, pretty and colorful baby quilt. I'm about to start one, by the way... Should I wait to see if I win this charm pack? ;-)
ReplyDeleteFor close friends I make a quilt, but for those I don't know quite as well, I make double-sided flannel receiving blankets, diaper burp cloths, sometimes a whole bunch of hair bows (if it's a girl), and lately I have been giving tutus to the baby girls too.
ReplyDeleteBaby toys, softies!
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt and give it to my new granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I have just started quilting this past year and have made about 6 baby quilts for grandchildren! Im addicted. We just found out our oldest daughter will be having our first granddaughter in Oct! We have 4 grandsons and needed a girl to shake things up a bit. If I won, I would make her a quilt from the new line. I just love it.
ReplyDeleteA special baby Quilt of course!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis one is easy:) My baby gift is almost always board books. I search for children's classic books, but in board book form. Lovely fabric line!
ReplyDeleteI tend to buy little vests with poppy buttons (I think they are called romper suits in the US) because until you have babies you don't realise just how many you can go through in a day. Especially in the first few weeks when nappy changing is not that routine yet or your hubby is a bit clumsy like mine ;-)
ReplyDeleteI always quilt or knit a baby blanket. (I like to stack the deck in favor of producing the favorite blanket!)
ReplyDeleteSince I started quilt....without a doubt....I like to give a handmade quilt or a crocheted blanket. I like to give a book too. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteQuilts! ...or, more like receiving blankets. I like to make a pieced quilt top that I back in flannel with no batting.
ReplyDeleteI loved receiving diapers at my shower & always include them in my baby gifts. I also make burp cloths with ribbon or fabric to make cleaning yucky spit up something a little cheery.
ReplyDeleteKelley
I love giving baby quilts as gifts! :) I make lots of them. Homemade bibs make nice gifts too. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love to give this little wedge thing for the baby to sleep on. Someone gave me one when I had my first and it was a lifesaver. It is sold at Target, and the baby can sleep in it in the crib or in the parents' bed, as ours did. It just helps them sleep. And then of course I love to make some homemade bibs and burp cloths--and a quilt too if I have time!
ReplyDeleteI love this line. Besides a quilt I like gifting a cute bank with a few silver dollars.
ReplyDeleteI make baby quilts for Quilts4Kids, Project Linus, and in hopes of someday having another grand baby of my own ;-)
ReplyDeletethis fabric collection is precious! it would make a wonderful baby quilt.
I also like to make flannel receiving blankets in 'jumbo' size because the manufactured ones are always too small too soon!
I am a new quilter, so I give quilts for new baby gifts now, but in the past I always made little dresses or appliqued onesies for baby boys :)
ReplyDeleteThis fabric is so adorable, thank you for the chance to win some :)
I like to give a homemade crib sheet to match a quilt and some burp cloths. thank you for a chance to win this line.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this fabric in my stash. I would make a baby quilt and a doll quilt. Thank you for this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy trade mark for baby gift giving is a CD of lovely classical, soft baby music along with either a soft, cuddley quilt or I also make baby hoodie towels... You sew a wash cloth centered at the top of a bath towel and sew the top corners of the wash cloth to make a hood... swaddle baby and head is covered... everyone loves them and then you have the relaxing music either for bath time or sleep and its good for the new moms too.
ReplyDeleteOf coarse my favorite baby gift to give is a quilt. I just finished 2 baby quilts and working on a third one. Lots of babies this year!
ReplyDeleteI love to give blankets and/or animal head blankets made with Minky. I hate sewing with Minky, but it is so soft and everyone loves the feel of it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite baby gift to give is a quilt.
ReplyDeleteMy fave gift to give a baby has to be a quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I really like the person they get a quilt. Otherwise it's homemade burp clothes and onsies. You can never have too many of either of those.
ReplyDeleteBurp cloths and bibs are what I usually make unless it's someone really close to me, in which case they get a baby quilt or crocheted afghan.
ReplyDeleteI like to give a handmade quilt, stitched with love. :)
ReplyDeleteI usually make some sort of gift such as a quilt, receiving blankets, changing pads, bibs from charm squares, burp cloths or tag blankets.
ReplyDeleteFamily members get quilts - but most new moms appreciate practical things like a huge pack of diapers.
ReplyDeleteI love giving a handmade crib quilt! If I can't do that, I give a stack of "board books" because introducing reading to your baby is so important!
