.....literally.
My daughter has always loved serving other people.
So when it came time to put together a project for her
FCCLA club at school....a chapter
service project is what
appealed to her.
It's a 3 part plan.
The first thing she did was organize
thank you notes to servicemen through
She collected over 400 notes.
They were so sweet from kids grades 5 - 12.
She wanted to focus on teen girls for her second project.
Teenagers are hard to buy for at Christmas time
and often become overlooked.
So with the help of her FCCLA
group they made t-shirt fashion scarves
for several different agencies to pass out in
stockings or give to families for Christmas.
They turned out so cute and we had the
rewarding experience of giving them out yesterday.
They will be used to fill Angel Tree requests and help
Grandparents raising Grandchildren.
I can't think of a better activity to work on with my daughter at this time of year.
