Be My Valentine

Made these mini cupcakes
for the wedding,
but they are perfect
for Valentine's Day.

This chocolate cake recipe is super moist
and it takes just a little bit of batter
and you get a big
cupcake.
The batter goes a long way.

We like playing around with chocolate.
And we do love this
Salted Caramel Frosting.

Used Wilton's Candy Melts
 for the hearts.

I like the smaller Wilton squeeze bottles for this,
you don't have to melt as much chocolate
and they are easier to draw with.

Just draw a heart,
fill in,
and then shake the wax paper
a little to make them smooth.

Decided I liked the filled
 in ones the best.

Will you...

  2. The Eiffel Tower is really amazing - that a squiggle of chocolate can paint a picture. I had no idea that frosting could be piped into shapes that would harden. Fun!

    1. It's melted chocolate that hardens. Yes, you can draw anything, let it cool and carefully pick it up.

  3. The recipe looks yummy and I LOVE salted caramel anything. I've made candy shapes for cupcakes, but never anything like those cute hearts. Thanks for the how-to!
