A friend is having a baby boy!
I've only known this for
months and
months...
nothing like having a deadline
to get things done.
She's kind of having a book shower.
And these are definitely 2
of our family favorites.
My daughter's favorite page.
The Pigeons need a book bag, right?
That seemed like a great idea
at midnight last night.
I've never made a larger tote before,
so I just kind of made this up as I cut.
(another great midnight idea)
I used some of my hoarded
The bag was supposed to be
the size of the books.
It's just a little bigger. :)
It'll be great for the library.
There's soft Velcro inside,
it just rips open easy.
Oh, here's my favorite page.
(although I don't like mustard.)
I hope the little boy
comes to Love the Pigeon.
So cute! "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" is on Amazon's top 100 children's books to read in a lifetime. Love them!
ReplyDeleteThat bag is gorgeous! I'm always nervous to use plastic - what if I go wrong?!!
ReplyDeletegreat bag, not come across the pigeon books before
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea and those fabrics are darling.
ReplyDeleteVery cute Corrie. I am sure it will be read often.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift! And I'm thinking for a kitchen shower for a new bride...a tote with a cookbook, or a graduation gift...a tote with a journal, oh my brain is working. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteA book shower! I love that! You have to understand that this comes from a person who does not own a t.v.! Your bag turned out so cute. I'm not familiar with The Pigeon. My daughter grew up before these books. I must explore more...
ReplyDeleteI'm hoarding that fabric, too, but I might just have to pull it out. This bag is way cute!
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh! This is ADORABLE!!!
