Using some of these sweet fat quarters
in a project.
from Lori Whitlock.
I need some pretty sunshine fabrics today, since
Des is running around
Disneyland without me!
Seriously,
what's up with that?

Have a great weekend, Corrie! You'll get your turn, LOL! Love that hexagon fabric.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric, nice cheerful colour combo.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's not fair. You have cheered me up with these bright, happy colors late at night when I'm not feeling well, but I don't have anything cheery for you. I'm sorry, I'm just one of those people who can't remember a joke if my life depends on it...which, thank goodness, it never has. Here's hoping you have lots and lots of smiles today, even though I couldn't help. :) magistra13 at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteBeth
Perfect fabric for this blustery December day.
ReplyDeleteCorrie, you should have gone with her. Hope you have a great day anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely fabrics! My granddaughters would love these. One loves orange and the other loves pink.
ReplyDeleteWhen my son was young this poem made him giggle. It still makes me smile thinking about that. Maybe it will give you a smile as well.
ReplyDeleteSnowball By Shel Silverstein
I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be.
I thought I’d keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
And a pillow for its head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first– – it wet the bed.
I'll be sharing this with my little guy. That's cute.
DeleteHey... you get to relax instead of waiting in very long lines! Thanks for the sweet giveaway!
ReplyDeleteBoo for not visiting Disney. I wouldn't want to wait in those lines.
ReplyDeleteSorry, you didn't go to Disney- me neither! Misery loves company so hopefully all the comments cheer you up! I love the colors in this collection! cherisetower@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI'm suffering with bronchitis, currently.
ReplyDeleteThat should cheer you up, because you aren't! Giggle!!
At least we have gorgeous weather, 29 degrees C. (84.2 F)
We've been pretty sick at our house and the one thing that keeps making me smile is the other day my kids stayed home from school, but decided that they needed home school. Before I knew what was going on my 6 year old had taped a flag (with it's dowel) on the wall with scotch tape so they could say the pledge of alligiance. It took a LOT of tape, but it stayed there till she took it down. Thanks for the cheery fabric to look at!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lucky girl you are to get to stay home and play with fabric while she is off being drug from one silly thing to the next!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holiday at home and hugs your kids twice!
Cheery fabrics. Tis the season to be jolly, happy and well. Enjoy it. Turn on some holiday music and dance around the house.

Welll... It could be raining at Disney Land ( its been known to happen)!
ReplyDeleteDose that help you feel better?
I'm loving that alphabet fabric, so pretty. Des may be in Disneyland, but imagine the crowds. Better to be home where you can take time for the odd cup of tea, and leave Disneyland until next month when things aren't so crazy.

ReplyDeletemsstitcher1214@gmail.com
I've never been there either. That's okay, I'd much rather spend my time doing some creative sewing! Especially if it's totally selfish sewing!
ReplyDeleteHow unfair to have your partner in crime running around the happiest place. Love the fabric. Sew Cute!!
ReplyDeleteYou're better off out of Disneyland, I'm sure there are long lines and sore feet involved! Lovely giveaway!

ReplyDeleteThese do make me smile! I hope they cheer you up, too. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteJust for laughs, my 3 yr old daughter just asked me to buy her 'smarshmells' (marshmallows):)
ReplyDeleteTry doing this.
ReplyDelete1) Go to your fabric cabinet/shelves etc. Browse thru those pretty prints. ....
Does it cheer you up?
:D
2) If it fails, grab your bag and go to your favourite fabric store.
3) Do not open Etsy. Everytime I did that without clear intention to buy something, usually I'd end up feeling awful. LOL.
Anyway, have a great day! I hope it's not raining again today here in SIngapore, I need my laundry to dry up :P
dieni.rachmawaty at gmail dot com
I would much rather buy fabric, than pay Big bucks to stand in line for loooong time.....maybe get wet.....and not really have anything to show for money spent ( cept pictures...)
ReplyDeleteYay! Happy fat quarters!
ReplyDeleteJust think, the lines as Disney are like the long lines on Black Friday. I would happily pet the fabrics.

ReplyDeleteLovely bundle of fabric. It makes me smile. Thanks for a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric. The colors are so cheerful
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about needing cheerful fabrics! In the winter months, the sun seems to be so sporadic and bright and happy colors seem to lighten the mood. I'll take all the happy I can get!
ReplyDeleteLet's see, how about a corny joke? What do you call an island covered in cupcakes?
ReplyDeleteA dessert-ed island!
Okay, it's awful, but it goes with the fabric, no?
These are so fun! I love the color combinations. What a fun bunch.
ReplyDeleteThese are bright and cheery colors. Spring is just a few months away. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteA new rule for quilters...................there are no calories in Christmas baking!!
ReplyDeletelin dot web dot 28 at gmail dot com
Cheer up! You are surrounded by beautiful fabric!
ReplyDeleteHi Corrie and Des
ReplyDeleteI found a page of quilting quotes on Green Fairy Quilts
http://greenfairyquilts.com/pages/-QuiltingQuotes.php
I'm sure some of them will resonate but I'll choose one of them. Hope you like it.

Hi, Corrie! I'm with you in heart, wishing you a happy Friday. Let's turn our thoughts to Spring...just as soon as Christmas is over anyway!
ReplyDeleteOur 5 year old daughter's favorite joke: "How do you make a tissue dance? ---You put a little boogie in it!" It's getting LOTS of use at our house as we all recover from sinus infections. Sigh Winter WILL be over soon, right?
ReplyDeleteNice selection of fabric!! Thanks for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics, thanks for sharing. Tomorrow is a new day!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying cuddling my new grandson! Love these fabrics.
ReplyDeleteKeels@mvdsl.com
Those are lovely cheerful prints!
ReplyDeleteTaking a break from Christmas sorting and Christmas decorating. We moved 1 1/2 years ago into a smaller house. We did very little decorating last year because we were home only one week in December. Anything (and this is a lot) that doesn't get used this year is not going to be kept. Problem is where to take it. Oh well! Love the fabric. Nancy A; rangerer@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in this fabric! So nice, thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletetdkcarpenoctem@hotmail.com
Lovely fabrics! Thanks for the chance!!! Very cheerful!!!
ReplyDeletemumbird3(at)gmail(dot)com
Happy first week of December! I hope instead of vacationing you are getting some holiday things done so you can relax and enjoy the season more later.
ReplyDeleteHello! Sorry you couldn't go to Disneyland too, but if it's any consolation, you are missing high prices, long lines, and sore feet. Plus you can stay home and quilt. See? It's not all that bad is it. It would be even better if I win the fabric. Fran
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric. Recently made a knitting needle case out of them. (speddar at hotmail dot com). Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLovely and yes they are bright and cheery. Would sure make a lovely bag of sorts. (novacek74 at gmail dot com).
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, you didn't get to go to Disneyland?! Well, California is getting lots of rain...so it's a LOT less fun at Disneyland with downpours....Does that cheer you up?
ReplyDeleteThese giveaways are so generous of you! Please know how thankful we ALL are, not only generous but kind of fun. May you and your family have a blessed Christmas season!
