ReplyDeleteAt a retreat, I would love to have some solid time to sew. I have three kids, so my sewing time is found in bits and pieces. :)

ReplyDeleteAt a quilting retreat, I love having time to work on my unfinished projects. It is also fun to have demos for projects that can be finished in a small amount of time. At one retreat that I attend, there is a pincushion swap. Participants make a pincushion before the retreat. The pincushions are wrapped. They participants participate in a swap by drawing numbers. There have been some real masterpieces created. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I would love the time divided into demo time, slow stitching time(aka binding & honeycomb), and free stitching(UFOs)time with the most time being on free stitching with like minded people. ReplyDeleteAt a retreat I really like to work on a new project/technique one day and a "do your own thing" another. Love when all the food and snacks are provided so I don't have to think about that.
