Have Iron Will Travel

I loooove my little travel iron,
but after group sewing days,
it's HOT and I have to hold it
 in the air
 in the car
while I drive home.

How safe
is that?

And people call me
and I can't hold a phone
and an iron.

Yeah, it's a problem.

So I made a linen iron cozy!

I don't make a lot of bags or
have much zipper experience.

And I didn't have directions
AND it's lined with Teflon
and insul-brite.

And it worked
on the first try!

Can you tell
I am super stoked?!

The handle collapses, and
it just snuggles right in there.

Okay, where to next?
Because
I am ready to go!

  7. I usually just put my hot iron in one of my tote bags, wrap it up and stick it in another tote. I think I really NEED an adorable zip-closure iron pouch like yours!! Nice work!

    1. The iron comes with a little zippered protective cozy, but it's not lined or heat proof. So I looked at it to make it.
