No, Silly.
We're RockStars!
Can't you tell by our album cover?
Some of us had an easier time channeling the Rockstar vibe than others.
Some thought it was humorous.
Some couldn't really understand 'the producers' vision but went along with it anyway. I bet they're slapping their foreheads now!
Some quickly tired of said producer and all her directions.
Some took their lives into their own hands by balancing on the balls of their feet at the risk of plumeting to a painful death below, while producer bossed them around and told them to 'look disgruntled'. Yeah, it wasn't an act.
Some tried to warn producer that others were in pain.
Producer didn't hear or perhaps ignored that counsel.
You be the judge.
Some were prone to curse.
Some were completely oblivious to the task at hand and loving every minute of it.
ALL were a joy and a delight to be with for 3 nights and 4 days.
Thank you so much my dear friends!!!!
I've got more...........so much more....................that's why we have several days in the week.
L to R sitting: Desi, Leela, Stitch, JimBob, Judy, Bets
Balancing by a thread in the back: Corrie Dawn, Shelto, Karebear AKA Johnny Cash
p.s. Some tend to exaggerate when posting :)
Great pictures! I'm so glad you girls had a good time! I can't wait to see what you got done!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun pictures. I love your take on them. They are quite stylized! They look like great gals.
ReplyDeleteHey Des, you never mentioned how many of your 4 projects you completed at the retreat. Please do tell! I think the 'behind' shot of said Johnny Cash could have been left out of the picture show though. Luv ya
ReplyDeleteYou guys are hysterical! Thanks for picking me Karebear! ooxx`jod
ReplyDeleteYou guys are just toooo cooool! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI wish my behind looked so good. Hard getting back to reality. ROCK on!
ReplyDeleteMy momma says I can't play with you anymore ... Hee! I think she is wondering how someone of my maturity level (ahem) could break a toe at a Quilt Retreat! She's not buying the "ran into an ironing board" story.....
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures! I think you should title your first album, "Where the Quilts Have No Name". :)
ReplyDeleteFUN!!! We have a similar ROCK BAND photo of my daughter and her friends taken in an alley in Seattle last year on her bday. It ROCKS but then all of those girls had the vision and were cooperating. :D Looks like a fun group. I can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteIf only I could go back to the good ol days of rock and roll and my sewing machine!! Had a blast and missing it already!! Thanks for making me famous!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! Thanks for sharing them!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou girls ROCK! Love the cakestands!
ReplyDeleteI love the behind shot of Johnny Cash. Had a great time! Missing it already! Hope the Bets toe is all right! Did you get a shot of that? That is one you have to see to believe. An ironing board!?
