  1. A comment about any kind of wheels? like the garage full of racing wheels for my hubby and my son's racing cars? Wheels for mud, slush, ice, dry asphalt, dry gravel, you name it, we have it!!! Thanks for the neat giveaway! I would love to have it for my 6 year old grandson who loves (you guessed it!) race cars!

  9. Oh, what adorable fabric! I'm thinking that flannel might need to become pajamas for my son. :-)

My first set of wheels (of the motorized variety) was a Jeep Wrangler, and before they got kind of "nice" on the inside. It was a tin can on wheels with a giant stick shift. I learned how to drive it when I was 13, and worshipped it when I turned 16. I washed that thing once a week, like it was a Porsche or something.

  10. What an adorable line of fabric. Really cute.
My first set of wheels was a 1980 white Renault R5. I got it in 1995 and already back then it looked like a vintage car...

  11. Darn, someone already said "the wheels on the bus go round and round"

My mouse has a trackWHEEL that I use a LOT.
Thanks for a chance at this.

  12. I love that fabric! My husband has a 1960 Austin Healey with wire wheels. He has had it for 30 years and restored it from a pile of pieces into a fun, beautiful car. I'm always glad that he knows how to fix things!

  13. My first set of wheels was a 1973 Dodge Coronet. It was big and ugly and I loved it.
    Love that wheels fabric!

  14. Wheels, eh? I not know what I could possibly say about wheels, other than that "The Wheel of Things" by Mollie Gillian is a great biography of Lucy Maud Montgomery!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  15. My dream car is a red covertible 1965 Mustang, tan leather interior. That is one cool set of wheels.

  16. Any kind of wheels - the first thing that pops in my head is the green Vega that I bought one summer. I was working in a factory and saved my money to buy this car :) - it was so rusted out that you had to hold the hood up to look at the engine. It didn't have a radio (which made for a boring drive to work) and the color - what was I thinking.:) Happy memories though, it was mine! These fabrics are so cute - would love to win! Thanks for the chance! :)

Wheels our middlest wants to drive but isn't mature or responsible enough to remember to change underwear. Wheels that take me to the quilt store. And the sewing machine repair store where my handWHEEL is being looked at!
    Wheels.

  24. Our favorite set of wheels is our little yellow Pontiac Solstice--our toy now that our kids are grown!

    ReplyDelete
  25. OK, since no one else has taken the bait - my first thought was, Pinwheels! My quiltalong group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/oldredbarncoquiltalong2009/) is doing pinwheels next - fathis fabric would beg for a terrific punny quilt name like "spinning my wheels!"

    ReplyDelete
  26. Any kind of wheels... then I am going to talk about my daughter's bike. Eden loves her bike. And yesterday I had to pry her off of it for dinner and then it was dark when we were finished. She cried and cried! I would love to win!

Turns out his Legos (now he's 40 years old) were models and one of them being a tractor with big wheels. They both started putting it together last night. they didn't get very far but she's pretty content just pushing the body of the tractor around on the floor with its big wheels.

  40. Wheels, huh? I bought myself a Wii with the Wii Fit Plus for my birthday, and my favorite thing so far is the skateboard arena game. I would never step on a real skateboard to save my life, I'd be one of those people with brain damage they use to scare kids off extreme sports, but on the Wii it's a little more basic and I am not terrible! :P

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hot Wheels are my kids favorite :) They may use this before I can grab it as "tracks" :)

  46. In a unit teaching simple machines, I thought it would be fun to let the kids drive small cars through paint and make the covers for their little books. OH MY! What a mess. I underestimated how much vigor little boys put into driving little cars. Paint everywhere! I love this give away! Adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  54. When I think of wheels, I think of my first ones...my first car, that is! It was my senior year in college (yes, this shows my age...nowadays most kids have one by the time they're 16)...and it was a 1972 Ford Mustang Fastback. I thought I was really cool. The uncool part was that it was always in the shop.

    These fabrics are really cute!

  55. My wheels are spinning with ideas for this cute fabric!

  58. Ok. Wheels. That brings to mind my first car, a used Pontiac convertible that my Dad gave me. Man, how I loved that car. It was big and got really lousy gas mileage. This was back in my college days and I could fill the tank for $10, and I thought that was outrageous!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Love the fabrics! Wheels still brings to mind the accident my husband was in last Thursday night. As he spun around 180 degrees, he saw a wheel go rolling by and thought the guy had knocked his spare off his truck. As he soon discovered, it was not his spare but his rear drivers side wheel! Needless to say, MiMi truck as we affectionately called her, has been totaled and will be sorely missed. Since my son will never get to drive MiMi, maybe I can win and make him a quilt instead. He'll be 8 next Saturday!

  89. the wheels in my head keep spinning and spinning, but I'm getting NOWHERE!! :o)

Wheels... I'm reminded of every HOOP-T-Piece my family has ever owned. The brown stationwagon with wood-paneling, the VW Rabbit (that amazingly fit all 10 of us in it on the way to church- we looked like CLOWNS getting out of it), the Bullet (affectionately named because it ran into a MOOSE and killed it- on the way home from Girl's Camp, no less, with 8 girls in tow), the Grocery Getter (another black station wagon), the Holy Roller (the name given to the mini van in which kids were not allowed to swear), and Piso (the 15 passenger PISO-Junk that became our latest "daily slice of humble pie")... yes, wheels. I'm grateful for them all. :o) Without them I wouldn't have gotten everywhere I needed to be. Although if I could have wished for one thing different it would have to be HEAT in the Bullet at -40F. Yep, we've had some great wheels.
