What to Pick Giveaway Over

Update: Congrats to #34 Gene! We were picking the number on 2 different computers & it came up on both. Meant to be.
Great comments today -- thanks for the anniversary wishes. I liked Kellie's idea (#100) of taking a picture of you & your spouse every year on that day. That would be really fun to have. The 'child bride' comments were perfect.

Lots of new charm packs arriving.

It's just like Christmas; I never know what's going to be in the box.
Today it was Rural Jardin at the door.

Yesterday, Summer Song from Riley Blake showed up.

The oranges and pinks are so 'summery' -- there's that little white bird sitting in the tree, and that orange stripe.

Adorable for everything!

Frolic from Sandy Gervais is not to be confused with our Frolic from Wendy Slotboom.

I'll just put them all together in the store -- they can be friends.

These are great colors, even better in person.

Hunky Dory...what's not to love about each and every piece of it.

A little 30s for you -- Everything but the Kitchen Sink.

How cute would these be in a Schnibbles!
Rainy Days & Mondays charm packs

I don't know what you're going to pick if you win.

They are all winners!

~
Today's giveaway is a charm pack of your choice.
Leave a comment about.... an anniversary.
Yep, it's my wedding anniversary. #22. Good grief, that's a long time. Needless to say, I was married very, very young :-). I should probably go talk to my husband.
Random drawing later tonight. Please be sure, I have a way to email you.
We have lots of winners, that don't win.

  4. Hard to pick, but what a dilemna to have!

My husband and I were married on June 29th, 1997. Five years later, on June 30th, 2002, my first daughter was born. It's fun saying that my anniversary is the day before my daughter's birthday. I get funny looks at that one!

  5. My parents are divorced, but their wedding anniversary was the day before my (their only child) birthday... kinda cool...

  18. Happy Anniversary!! My hubby and I celebrated 13 years last month. For a gift I asked for a grommet set, well actually I took hubby into the shop, picked out the one I wanted, and asked if he wanted to take a photo to remember which one. No no he said, I will remember. Well sure enough he got the wrong one LOL! But he was happy enough to take it back and swap it over, he should have known I would want the more expensive one!! :)

We ended up getting married on Halloween, mostly because the date was available, not because it's exactly our favorite holiday. But you can bet we never forget what day it is! Now that we have kids, any celebration usually gets postponed until after trick-or-treating.

  53. My father was showing us some old pictures recently and came upon one of his great aunt and uncle--good old french canadian stock, never had any children so they spoiled everyone else's, never had any money and always worked hard and were the happiest people in the world because they woke up every day choosing to be happy. Dad's photo was from their 60th wedding anniversary; Uncle Armand is cutting the cake with Matante Blandzine's help, and her wig is only a teeny bit crooked and they both have the most wonderful smiles.
    Happy Anniversary!

Just so it happens, tomorrow will be our 1st house anniversary (if such a thing exists)! Exactly a year ago tomorrow, my boyfriend and I got possession of our first house. I remember skipping work that day (haha, why wouldn't I?!) and going to the lawyer's office bright and early to pick up the keys and heading to the new house. It was one of the happiest days of our lives (of course, many more happy days followed since we moved into the house)!

  78. Happy Anniversary! My first anniversary always makes me laugh. My husband is not romantic, so we were about to go to dinner and he just said "umm, here" and thrust a small black velvet box at me. My gift was a beautiful necklace and it surprised me that he found something so perfect, but it was a funny moment and so telling of his personality. He's just awkward and I love him for it.

  100. April 1st was the 50th Anniv of my in-laws. They chose that day because it was both of their second marriages. Well, they told us their plans for their big day and we made some plans of our own. They were going back to their "first date" restaurant a few states away. We planned to have a gift there for them, a framed wedding pic waiting on the table with roses, the works. Trouble is on their way there, they stopped in another city for one night...and ended up staying for 4. They never went to "The" restaurant, thus never saw our surprise, or their names on the marquee, none of it! Our surprise was busted! Oh well, they had a good time--just no surprises from their kids. It's going to end up being one of those family stories that gets retold over and over.

  121. Happy Anniversary!! 2 years ago for my parents' 50th, my brothers and I sent them on an Alaskan Cruise instead of having a big party for them. But first, we had a long weekend family reunion with all 7 children (with spouses) and 19 of 20 grandchildren in attendance. Surviving 50 years and 7 children is really something to celebrate!

  122. My husband and I will celebrate six years (in October). We are so excited because everyone told us if you make it past five - you'll survive. Not that we questioned it but it is a fun way to make six special.

  123. Happy Anniversary to you!! My hubby and I will be celebrating 8 years of marriage in June, and an adventure it has been. Enjoy this day and I wish you many more to come.

  125. Happy Anniversary and Many More! Just found your blog today and it is so pretty! I have also just started to sew and the charm packs make things so easy!

Our 10th anniversary was my most memorable to date....we are at 16 this coming Oct....on our 10th my husband wrote me a long love letter telling me his feelings...something that does not come easy to him....and all the the things he loves about me and us....then he topped it off with a big ole diamond that took my breath away....don't tell him but I would have been happy with just the letter! :)

  126. Happy Anniversary Corrie,
We can never remember the date only the month- july.

  127. Haha, my boyfriend and I have been together for over three years and I still can't remember our anniversary. He finally had to put the ticket stub from our first date on the fridge so I'd have to remember. =)

  128. Happy Anniversary! My hubby's parents will be married for 68 years come June. My hubs and I are working on #37! It just does not seem like it has been that many years. But I am more in love now then 37 years ago :-) Thanks for entering me in your sweet giveaway.

  129. Congrats! My 25th anniversary is coming up in August. That used to sound like forever but to me, it seems like it went really fast (well, most days!).

  130. What a tough prize, how to choose!!! They all look wonderful. I'm coming up for 12 years, this year...not quite as long as some of the other comments...but loving "most" every minute!!

  131. You were a child bride! Our anniversary this year will be #12 and each year just gets better and better. I tell people that the day I would divorce my husband is the day I would give my kids up for adoption - neither would EVER happen. He is my family forever and ever, just like my kids. We'll work it out.

  135. I love to Frolic in the Kitchen Sink... so either would be great. If I win one, I need to purchase the other...

Happy Anniversary...22 is nothing...we are heading into our 39th!!! I was a mere babe...

  142. Aw happy anniversary. Twenty two is long. It was 30 for us last year. I really hate our anniversary date (dec 29) because too much is going on and we don't really do much, or ever have. Two years ago Mr. Hive completely forgot. I didn't tell him so I could yell at him the next day. I'm so bad.

  143. Happy Anniversary. Last anniversary my husband surprised me by taking me to the bed and breakfast we stayed at after our wedding. We also went to eat at the same place that we went to the night he proposed. He is so thoughtful! kristen.perschon@gmail.com

  144. Happy Anniversary! The first few (like 6 at least) of my anniversaries were spent in the car driving to my in-laws' house, because we were still in school, and we got married a week before Christmas -- just as soon as finals were over. They've been celebrated a little better since then. I would choose summer song! Love it!

  145. Happy Anniversary! My grandparents had an anniversary party for their 50th when I was a little girl. We chided grandpa to give grandma a kiss but he kept blushing and would only give her a peck. We've laughed about how red his cheeks got every since! I love Rural Jardin!

  146. Happy Anniversary! Hubby and I are going to be celebrating 20 years in October. We don't really do much for our anniversaries.

  147. Twenty-two years - congratulations. We have our twentieth coming up and this is after being divorced from someone and saying I would NEVER get married again. I guess if you have the right guy, everyday is an anniversary.

  148. My husband and I will celebrate our 35th anniversay May 24th. Our most memorable one was our 25th when our kids threw a surprise dinner/dance for us! What a great time we had. My sister turned 51 and celebrated her 32nd anniversary today!

  149. Happy Anniversary...we are working on year number 26!

  150. You know what I love about my wedding anniversary is that it is Sept 10th and the fact that my dear sisters anniversary is Jan 10th and now her first born son has the anniversary of Nov 10th...none of this is planned. But now my mother has said that my sisters next son to get married has to plan it on the 10th of whatever month...even if its on a Tuesday! The pressure is on for him! By the way, I will be celebrating 16 years of marriage this September.

  151. This summer my husband and I will be 29 years and still going strong!
Those years weren't all a bed of roses but as the years go by they go faster and faster and you both grow closer and closer! Great charm packs! They all look so sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Congratulations on your anniversary! My husband & I will celebrate our 27 yrs. on 6/11/10. But we've been together since I was 17 (30 yrs)! Got married just after I turned 20. Nice to hear comments about marriages lasting longer than a couple years. My hubby & I say we're "stuck" with each other ;) We've invested too much time training each other, that we wouldn't want to start over again with someone else...LOL! Have a good one!

  153. I'm not married, but I still acknowledge lots of life anniversaries, like when I adopted a pet, started a job, made my First Communion, and many more. Happy Anniversary to you, and thank you for the giveaway chance.

  162. Happy anniversary! Our seven year anniversary is on Sunday. Seven years doesn't seem like a long time, but it is weird how it is difficult to remember life before marriage (or even before kids!). I guess that is how life goes!

  165. Happy Anniversary. I just had my 1st anniversary in December. Too bad we spent it in the ER instead of at the nice dinner we had reservations for. It turned out I had a very bad infection. At least we got to be together! Forgot to leave an email. jenniffer@yahoo.com
