From Chair to Eternity

I'm pretty sure I could sit my behind on this chair for eternity.
Or at least until I tire of this color combo.

She's even sitting with the big boys now.

You've come a long way baby.

Que the waves.

Material for seat: Anna Maria Horner's Drawing Room Home Dec Fabric, Nouveau Bouquet in Gold. Don't ask me why it's called gold, but it is. There is no gold in there. It's red, pink and creamy white.

Spray paint: Rust-Oleam American Accents Aqua

  1. I have got to get some of that paint, they look amazing! I'm headed to the big city this weekend so please tell me I can find it at home depot or something because I know our Wally's doesn't have it.

She looks so grown up sitting at the adult table and she's the best dressed to!

  5. Funny, before I even saw the name of the fabric, I was thinking I wish there was a hint of gold leaf on the filigree part of that chair.

However, they look awesome as is!

  6. They're great! I prefer a bold look to distressed-on-purpose: I have plenty of distressed furniture already, that's why I'm always eyeballing other people's fabulous furniture makeovers!

  14. LOVE THEM!!!! love the color combo too. I'm going to eventually redo the kitchen table and I want chairs similar to yours (but bigger) to coordinate (but not match) the table. Right now I'm finding it's hard to hunt down chairs to re-upholster.

Because your chairs look small, are they for kids????

  15. Claire: NO, thank goodness. I would hate to waste this yumminess on a child. :O)

My other chairs are just overly large. These are the perfect size. I would love to continue to find different chairs to put around my table so they are not matchy, matchy.

  19. oh my gosh Des, that's a huge improvment!! that's really funny about the AMH fabric. Maybe they call it gold because it's kind of a fillagree pattern?
