Spent the week at Des'.
One Block
That is what I accomplished.
It's for our Pizza Box Exchange.
The red Maverick Star is Lori's original block.
She is hoping to make a 'color wheel' quilt.
What color of green is this?
She wanted
lime
or
Kelly
or
grass green.
Hoping this is one of those. :-)
Looks like the perfect green to me. Beautiful block.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that beautiful green block you created.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it called? I'm desperatly searching for a quilting bee block for my upcoming host month.
Would love the details.
The pattern is Block 11 from the Moose on the Porch Jelly Roll quilt along.

The chair fabric is tufted tweets (which we have & just got more today). The other fabric is ginger blossom, which is sadly gone.
Oh your blocks are wonderful!! I really like the red one, how fun to be able to sew together and giggle!!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to bug you again but do she have a tutorial for the red star?
ReplyDeleteooh!! those are pretty blocks ,I am also doing a quilt along with amy and I am so behind due to the heat not that it's cooled of I will catch up.
ReplyDeleteLove that shade of green...they are all so pretty next to each other too!
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteYeah! I love it, and the green is PERFECT! Can't wait to see it in person. I'm glad you had a fun week with your sister!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The red star is just a Maverick star with a little wonky pieced log cabin center. Here's a tut for the Maverick star...http://www.quiltville.com/maverickstars.shtml
