ReplyDeleteCan I just say I love living in Alaska!!?? :o)
ReplyDeleteOkay made me smile today...
...my 3 year old shakin' her bootie like I've NEVER seen anyone in my house do before.
...my 6 year old running and giving me a hug goodbye after volunteering in his class at school.
...my 10 year old's face when she opened a gift from her aunt that came in the mail.
...my 13 year old asking me if a friend could come over, waiting for my response, and then telling his friend out on the PORCH I said it was okay. (I kinda want to know what he would have done if I had said NO!)
...my husband flexing off some hours to spend the evening with us!
...lots of smiles and even more if I win this giveaway!! :o)
I'm loving the Bliss fabric that's gorgeous. What made me smile today? Well my wee Doggy Henri always makes me smile - he loves to cuddle and be as close to me as possible. I am a lucky gal.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with those Bliss dots in flannel. What made me smile today? The first day of FALL!!!!! My absolute favorite season! It was a gorgeous day (although I spent hours and hours and hours at my machine, quilting a full sized quilt!). I even went out to the shop and found some autumn decorations!! :D
ReplyDeleteI really like BOTH of those lines, have used a charm of Bliss already so I would have to choose the Dream On. :)
Bliss!! most definitely!! just love it! My day is only just starting but I was telling my son about the day this summer our dog first saw socks with individual toes in them and did not know what to make of it! he had to investigate... but only paw by paw... jumping back when one toe wiggled! In the end I stroked the toes to show him it was ok and he dared to go and sniff. SO funny!
ReplyDeleteMy 3 minature poodles made me smile today. They waited patiently, tho watching intently, while I unpacked the grocery shopping to see if there was anything for them ... well I could hardly disappoint them now could I?? :D)
ReplyDeleteMy four year old went with me and his twelve year brother to see 'The Last Air Bender'. When we came home he took the handle from the outside broom and started doing martial arts movements and then used his hands to practice 'air bending' moves on the dog (mini poodle). I could see this while I was working on another quilt project through the window. I could not help but grin ear to ear. You have to love boys. P.S I would be happy with either charm pack.
ReplyDeletePlease count me in...
ReplyDeleteThink the thing that made me smile today was the sun coming through the grey clouds as I drove home.
Lovely give away I would choose bliss, just love that line! What made me smile today? My husband did put a candle on the breakfasttable today, just so! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteGreat that you are back online!
The smell of the morning's first cup of coffee and a soft black kitty-cat to rub brought a smile to my face. I know it will be back in the mid 90s before noon; however, Florida right now at 4 a.m. is cool and oh so nice. I saw an adorable butterfly fluttering across the Dream On fabric - how lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the Bliss. My Golden Retriever Cricket made me smile at 4:15 this morning! She loves to get me up and have alittle play time before everyone else in the house gets up!
ReplyDeleteThe smell of 100 good cookies which mum is currently baking. Yummy.
ReplyDelete:) My big smile came from my kitty Jaimie who always runs out to me each morning to give me "kitty kisses". Actually, I think it's just a bribe for food!

ReplyDeleteIt made me smile this morning (well, laugh, really) watching two of my boys running for the bus because they were too engrossed in Arthur to pay attention to the time -- until we heard the bus roll by and I realized they hadn't left yet. ReplyDeleteMy youngest son made me smile this morning..he's going to be 3 in a few months and is getting very independent...so when he woke up this morning not feeling so great, he just wanted to cuddle with me...I wrapped him up in his blankie, grabbed his lovey, and sat down with him to watch a little PBS, since cartoons were on. This only lasted about 10 minutes, but I'll take it, because I know that one day this will not happen at all.
My daughter pointing out all the little leaves stuck to my shoes this morning at the bus stop! She was so intent on me getting these little leaves off my shoes...

ReplyDeleteToday's biggest smile moment was when and elderly gentleman I know asked if he could see inside my purse. While unzipping every compartment and counting the pockets (mind you this is my personal bag with all my belongings in it) he said, "I think I'd like to see a catalog of these for my wife." It was a funny moment. I can't say anyone has ever just walked up and asked to see inside my purse before, especially not a man 40 years my senior. I had to grin.

Oh - the thought that today I will completely buttonhole, then put together the blocks, then sash, then add borders, then sandwich, then quilt, then bind a quilt ready to give to my husbands best friend for his 50th birthday tomorrow ------ that has me smiling ....
