Update: Congrats to Sandie ~call me crazy #136!!
Rick kept chanting #83 to win, because she said he looked like McDreamy.
It was our 23rd anniversary - 1988.
The comments were great, I want to see your photos now!
Rick & I are celebrating
our anniversary today!
Memories....
the kids are saying -
I've never showed them our wedding album??
I loved my shoulder pads & permed hair.
Our wedding colors were
peachy pink & green.
~~
Well, I don't have much in the way of peachy pink fabric, so
our giveaway today, is a yard or 2 half yards
of most anything in the shop.
~
To enter the drawing, tell me your wedding colors or
something about an anniversary.
Random drawing tomorrow morning ;).
If anyone knows where to find the wedding cake topper at the top, please let me know.
My colors were ivory and burgundy, very classic and very regal!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
I love your wedding dress. We eloped to Hawaii and were married on the beach. I had wanted to find a beachy white dress and thought that I could find one in Hawaii (not). Ended up getting married in a tropical shorts set! I still want a beachy wedding dress....maybe for our 25th.

I love these photos :) Happy anniversary! Our wedding color was a deep purple, with a bit of olive green. Still love looking at my photos :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you both!
ReplyDeleteIt was our 24th anniversary last week
Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMine was cream & gold :D
Wedding colors were blue and beige/tan. DH and I both wore cowboy boots. We HAD just moved to MT/ID from CA so we were 'country' now! LOL! My hair was permed to but pretty short.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary, Corrie and Rick! Over 29 years ago, I chose blue as the color theme for my wedding. When I think about it, I can't believe it. Blue is now way, way, WAY down in my choice of colors!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding colors were Jade green black and cream which was 31 years ago on the 12th April.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you both....my colours were white and pale blue that was 32 years ago eeeek where has the time gone.
ReplyDeleteKaren x
Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding colours were ivory and gold, quite classic. Only 3 weeks to go until our 7th anniversary!
I'm not married but The Boy and I have been together for 9 years. We are going to a cooking class together on the easter holidays to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteMy last wedding anniversary was spent in a Motel (in outback Australia) with 3 children, our best friends in the next room with their 2 children and my husband laid up in bed sweating up a storm with a major case of gastro. Romantic hey?
ReplyDeleteHi Corrie, My bridesmaid wore red velvet, I had white brocaded velvet- I made both dresses. :)
ReplyDeleteWe stayed at a beautiful motel overlooking a beach, it had balconies, but we discovered they were not accessible - only for show.:( The day we were driving home, the wind was so strong that the bonnet of our car blew upwards and we couldn't see where we were driving!!!! But we are still together after many years. Happy anniversary to you, may you share many more wonderful years together. hugs, Sandy. :)
Our wedding colors were chocolate, orange and hot pink! Our honeymoon was cancelled due to fires in California but we didn't mind since we were able to stay in Vegas. Our anniversaries have been much more low-key ;P
ReplyDeleteHi Corrie! I wore white brocaded velvet, and my bridesmaid wore red velvet. I made both dresses.
ReplyDeleteWe stayed at a motel overlooking the beach. It was a high rise with balconies, but we found out to our disappointment that they could not be accessed. On the drive home, the wind was so strong that the hood of our car blew up in front of the windscreen and we could not see where we were going!!! Many years have passed since then but we are still together, and happily so. I wish you and your husband many, many more years of wedded bliss. Hugs, Sandy.
Honestly, I don't even remember my wedding colors. I think the girls wore something peach and the guys were in black, but that is all I can remember and I am not even sure that is correct!!! I'd have to go find pictures!! I do remember my FIL throwing firecrackers under a table at the reception though. And no, he wasn't even drunk!! yeah, what a gem!! But now, 32 years later, I am happy I married my husband. He is a GEM!!! A rare find!

ReplyDeleteHi Corrie, our wedding colours were navy and cream. My bridesmaids all looked like Audrey Hepburn, long navy gowns, long navy gloves, beautiful. The men wore navy pinstripe suits. Our 15 wedding anniversary is coming up. We're thinking of having our wedding photos taken again..... our photographer was drunk..... one of our groomsmen 'helped' take the wedding photos - I can laugh now.
ReplyDeleteI didn't have "wedding colors" per se, but after seeing all my friends' original wedding pics on facebook, etc, I'm thinking maybe that's a good thing! :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely. Congratulations on your anniversary! My husband and I eloped, but we had a reception and our color was lavender, still my favorite color! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I'll be celebrating my first wedding anniversary next week so my wedding is still very fresh in my mind. I wore ivory and my husband wore black with ivory. The bridesmaids were blue (pale for the littlies and dark blue for the adults) and so our invitations and decorations etc were white, ivory and pale blue.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! We celebrated our 7th anniversary with a Hot Air Balloon weekend! That was fun! Thanks, dfamily864@att.net
ReplyDeleteI had an unconventional wedding. I wore a handmade skirt mostly in greens, with white knee-high socks a white t-shirt and a green jacket. My husband wore jeans and a t-shirt too. Not the usual, I guess, but it was fun :-)
ReplyDeleteContact:librosfera(at)gmail(dot)com
Happy Anniversary! I had burgundy & pink 30 years ago!
ReplyDeleteHappy happy anniversary! My wedding colors 28 years ago were lavender and pinks! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis year is our ten year anniversary! Our wedding colors were icy blue and silver.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Our colors were butter yellow and light blue. This year is 14 years for us. Crazy how fast it goes by!
ReplyDeletePurple and silver. And I would change my bridesmaid's dresses. They were silver and too close to white. Anyway....our 10th anniversary is this June! I can't believe it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversay, Corrie!!!! Love seeing wedding photos! I had permed hair too in our wedding photo (23 years ago) We had a small wedding so we didn't really do wedding colors. My favorite anniversary celebration was the year we took a cruise. I'm hoping to celebrate our 25th on another cruise. Have an awesome day!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! My bridesmaids wore lavender way back 23 years ago! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Aniversay! Our colors were fall colors, my sister wore a beautiful orange with chocolate sashed dress.
ReplyDeleteMy husband was a Marine Officer so he and his attendants wore their military dress blue uniform. My dress was ivory and I wore a floppy hat. I hate headwear of any kind! My attendants wore ice blue. On May 1 it'll have been 29 years ago.
ReplyDeletePowder blue. 1972.
ReplyDeleteGuessing you wedding was in the early 80s?
My wedding colors were purple (which was toned down to lavendar when my mom found the absolutely perfect dress fabric/pattern for the flower girls) and yellow (which was also toned down to a nice pastel yellow because I think the bridesmaids might have looked a bit garish in a true yellow). Happy anniversary! And thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! How many years? Dh and I will be celebrating our 18th anniversary in July :) We had a simple wedding, me in white, him in blue. Nothing big or fancy. I had wildflowers in my hair, to match my bouquet.
ReplyDeleteBurgandy and white were the wedding colors. I think back and smile. Of course, that's what anniversaries are for. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteVery happy anniversary. It was fun to look at your pictures. One morning my husband mentioned to me that we were coming up on our 11th anniversary. I asked when. To our surprise we'd missed it by 4 days!! We're going on 31 years now and laugh about that all the time. (It was a busy time!)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! For our tenth anniversary we went away for a glassblowing weekend together, and it was grand. We met in a glassblowing course and it was very romantic to play with Dangerous Art together again!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! :o) Our colors were red, white and black. You rocked the shoulder pads and permed hair! Those were the days...
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 30th anniversary in February! Our wedding colors were ivory and burgundy. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! My anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks! My wedding color was a bright turquoise blue.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! What an awesome accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteOur colors were peach and teal. I had permed hair too, but no shoulder pads. LOL
We're celebrating 21 this year and God is so good!
Happy Anniversary! We'll be celebrating our 22nd in October (the colors were pink and gray).
ReplyDeleteLove anniversaries! I've been married 12 years last Dec. The colors where burgundy and forest green. Lots of Christmas trees and roses :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! We'll be celebrating our 9th this summer. Our wedding colors were pink & yellow!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!! We will celebrate our second this summer. I got to pick the wedding colors- PINK AND ORANGE!!! So fun, thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteMy colors were yellow and white. The colors were chosen by my mother - not the colors I would have selected. We'll be celebrating our 36 wedding anniversary this June. Happy anniversary to you and your hubby!!
ReplyDeletemy dress was a blushy color...and sisters wore beautiful wrap around white blouses and light blue taffeta skirts. my mom made all the clothing. i bought all the fabric at JoAnns for less than $100!!
ReplyDeletenearly drove my mother nuts with my lack of concern on matching or decorating or spending lots of money or silly flowers.
Happy Anniversary!!! Love your wedding photos! My dress was white with peach accents and I loved it!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in your celebration giveaway!

I'm not married, but my anniversary w/ my boyfriend will be coming up at the end of next month and he will likely (hopefully!) be home on leave so we can actually celebrate it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteOur colors were pastel - baby blue, pink, yellow and mint green!
Congratulations on your anniversary. Our wedding colors were yellow and soft green. I love the cake topper.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you on your anniversary! Our wedding colors were lilac and white.
ReplyDeleteI think your hair looks awesome! By choice, I didn't have a wedding reception! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding was nothing to speak of...but, thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteWe were married in 1980. My colors were blue, baby blue. My wedding dress cost me $100.00, the dress is a Gunny Sax which was a popular clothing designer at that time. It laces up the front with lace and beads, it was so me. We had a simple wedding with just my husbands sister as the maid of honor and my husbands best friend as the best man. We married on a Saturday and on Monday, my husband had to go back to work at his first teaching job. We have been married for 30 years.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! We were married on New Year's Eve seven years ago. Our colors were black and white and I wore a long white beaded evening dress. It was such a beautiful dress! But, of course, now sits in my closet with nowhere to go since we are hardly evening gown/tuxedo wearers in "real" life. :)
ReplyDeleteI got married in late 60's , so my dress had princess lines and the train attached at the shoulders. My wedding was in late December...my bridesmaids wore red velvet ( and my daughter says "wacky" head pieces)
ReplyDeleteHow many years? I ask because sadly I have been divorced before but the colors for my first wedding were peach and mint green!! I wish that you could find a cake topper. Do you comb ebay for it?
ReplyDeleteOur wedding colors were off white with a touch of scarlet. And tomorrow is our 5 year wedding anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMy colors were olive green & lavendar!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed your pictures....what memories of the shoulder pads....and the hair...loved it...I actually loved the hair.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I were so poor, we just had a wedding at the SLC Temple and then a reception in my small apartment...really sad huh??? But....what can I say???
Congrats on your anniverssary!!
Happy Anniversary! Our color was lavender.
ReplyDeleteour wedding colors were yellow and blue, and our anniversary is coming up in a month! happy anniversary to you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!!!! Our wedding colors were soft shades of pinks, greens, and creams :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your anniversary! We have our 40th coming up this year...1971=peachy pink bridesmaids dresses! Still love that color! Jan
ReplyDeletewe had a very simple wedding . no color scheme. but it was cozy. linda gerig
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! Actually my wedding cake topper looks almost exactly like the one in the picture. I saved it after all these years. A little more then 30 :-) Our colors were pink and white for the wedding. And I still love pink :-)
ReplyDeletewe didn't hold too fast to any colors, but my bridesmaid dresses were blue.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! :) I got engaged a few months agp and we're getting married next year! My color is going to be light purple :)
ReplyDeleteHi there...Mr. Romance and I were married in 1972...flower children were everywhere, so we had floral bridesmaids dresses that were mainly green and yellow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting a give away.
Happy anniversary
Happy Anniversary! You didn't tell us how many years this makes. My colors, way back in 1978, were pale green and yellow. My husband wore a light green tux - oh the 70's!
ReplyDeleteOur colors were black and white...original, I know. We also had a small touch of cranberry and rust.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have wedding colors as we didn't have a wedding. I wore a gray skirt and cardigan set with black velvet details at the sleeves and hem, my husband wore black pants and a black shirt. We got married at the courthouse. February this year was our 11th anniversary and I wouldn't have changed a thing! (Weddings are a HUGE waste of money IMHO.)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! Our colors were pale pink & charcoal gray (1983)... I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I had a very small wedding outside of the US. Our colors were pink and green. Congrats on your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. We will be celebrating our 41st on April 14th. We were married in Vegas by a justice of the peace. My husband was a police officer working undercover & I had just gotten my divorce on my lunch hour the same day!!!! We managed a few hours free time that day. Get this, we had lunch at Der Weinersnitzel!! We plan having our anniversary lunch there next week. I know, we are silly, but it's been a great 41 years.
ReplyDeleteMy colors were dark green and navy blue. Happy Anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, mine is the 17th! We were married by the judge that handled my divorce 2 years earlier...I wore a yellow undress!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, congrats! We were married on my husband's birthday so he wouldn't forget the date. Guess what? Yup. It's been 31 years of fun, tho!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I were married in a botanical rainforest on the island of Kauai - half of the ceremony was performed in English and the other half in Hawaiian. It was a true fairy-tale wedding.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary on yours and many more blissful years to come!
In the photo of you with parents, your hubby looks like McDreamy on Grey's Anatomy . . . just sayin'. Our colors were burgandy and forrest green . . . do our colors date us??? Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding colors were cobalt blue and white. We wore matching Hawaiian print (his a shirt, mine a long summer dress) and honeymooned in Key West. In August.
ReplyDeleteSome day we'll get away for an anniversary - hopefully to the Caribbean.
My wedding colors were black and white, with accents of green. I loved my colors and my only regret is that I bought plain old white shoes that I hated instead of some funky green ones that would have looked awesome in pictures. Thanks for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWe just celebrated our 10th Anniversary a couple of weeks ago. I used mint green for a color as that was the color of the dress I found for my preteen daughter to willingly wear! lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Love the photos :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not married and we're (HE's) not big on celebrating anniversaries :( As we've been together 10 years this year I'm hoping to celebrate with our first holiday since DD arrived over 3 years ago!
Happy Anniversary! In June my husband and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary. The bridesmaids wore deep purple dresses.
ReplyDeleteIsn't being married wonderful?! Our colors were lilac and sage. Congrats on another year!
ReplyDeleteI really wanted eggplant so we used fall colors!
ReplyDeleteMy husband to be's zipper on his fly was broken. My mom happen to have safety pins with and she was the one who pinned it up for him.
ReplyDeleteOur colors were dark blue and purple with a dash of green. Wow, I promise it looked better than it sounds...
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!
Our colors were royal blue and white - we celebrated our 44th anniversary in January!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I had 4 bridesmaids and they walked down the aisle with their 6 little girls. Everyone wore white just like Princess Diana's attendants. I made all the dresses. Each mom/daughter wore matching pastel sashes. This June 30 will be 27 years.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! My colors were blue and white! We had a very simple garden wedding. 10 yrs this July!
ReplyDeleteWe got married on my birthday, last March. To celebrate 26+ years of living together. Ok, so what if we ARE a little slow?
ReplyDeleteOur anniversary (3 years!) was last month, and our colors were a mocha brown and sagey green with accents of pink and ivory!
ReplyDeleteOur colors were dark blue and silver, my hubby insisted on "no girly colors". CONGRATS on your anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThis year will be our 22nd Anniversary. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI had that lovely minty color back in 88...and uh there are no more anniversaries with him. But congrats on yours!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Our colors were white black and red. The reception center told me it would look horrible and then later told us that they were wrong- I wanted something classic that would not go out of style, so we did white and black decorations with beautiful red flowers.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I don't know that we had a color but we are coming up on 27 years so I think it turned out just fine. And people thought we were so young---
ReplyDeleteMy wedding color was a dusty rose pink. Only because I liked the bridesmaid dress! Else, I guess color did not matter that much to me. Happy Anniversary! How many years??? I'm going on 22 years this August.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you both! Love the photos!!! Our Hawaiian honeymoon happened with a 10 year delay. It was our 2nd marriage and we had 5 pre-teen boys... who we didn't dare leave until they were grown!
ReplyDeleteWe were married at the Justice of the Peace. I wore a pink and brown floral dress long since donated to Goodwill. Hope your anniversary is a happy one!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! Today John and I are celebrating the day we met, ten years ago! :) Hope you have a fabulous day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. We were married in 83 and my going away outfit looked almost exactly like the one worn by the woman (your mom?) standing next to your husband in the wedding photo! Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteOur wedding colors were different shades of pink & white. My dress was white eyelet with a pink underskirt that showed through & flower embroidered trim. My husband wore white pants & a white embroidered shirt with an embroidered belt. We were married outside underneath my parents crabapple blossom tree 37 years ago this May 5th. We looked like such hippies, but we really weren't.
ReplyDeleteOur color was lavendar in July. Pretty, but would I choose it now? Nope.
ReplyDeleteMy wedding color was navy blue...even the flowers cascading down the cake were blue iris...and our first anniversary was to beautiful Savannah, GA...I so want to go back :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Our colors were pink and green.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. Our last anniversary was spent apart. My husband was working out of town. But we did get to talk to each other.
ReplyDeleteIvory (me), icy blue (BMs), and dark gray (the guys) - perfect for a New Year's Eve wedding!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I had a blue jean wedding on our farm so my colors were denim blue and white. my flowers were wild picked flowers
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Those pictures are classic. What happended to your hubby's mustache? :) Both my husband and I were sporting bigger hair back on our wedding day (he has natural curl). We were married the week between Christmas and New Year's so we had holiday colors...burgundy and forest green with poinsettias in my bouquet.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!!, wish you many more to come, thank you for showing us your pics, I love them!!!!, I'm not married, but I'm going to say that my grandparents were married for 72 years, my grandpa passed away more than 10 years ago and my grandma's 102 years old now!
ReplyDeleteOur colors were hunter green and silver. Our flowers were sunflowers, daisies, and roses. My husband wanted to included hay bales into the fun but I nixed that one.
ReplyDeleteI'm betting we got married in the same place that you did!
Oh fun! My husband and I are going to be married for 6 years this year... it goes by so fast! We didn't have colors persay cause we got married at the courthouse. I wore black pants with a mostly white shirt with black swirls on it, and my husband wore a button up greenish blue shirt. We went for comfort. :)
ReplyDeleteOur wedding colors were emerald green, and the accent was roses. A very simple, outdoor wedding with a western theme.
ReplyDeleteMy wedding colors were burgundy and mauve. We got married in 1986 (25-year anniversary in October). Hindsight being what it is, I should have just done the burgundy. The mauve was sooooo 80s!
ReplyDeleteI just got married five weeks ago so I definitely know what my wedding colors were.....a very deep plum and olive green. So beautiful! I love the shoulder pads in your dress and your permed hair. Those were the days!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and your husband! What a blessing. My husband and I have been married for almost eight years - time sure does go by fast. We really don't have any wedding colors - we dated for several years and were engaged for several months and just decided to go for it and then we called family afterwards! It worked great for us and our family but it may not be for everyone! :)
ReplyDeletemerefleming{at}yahoo{dot}com
I chose eggplant for my bridesmaids. why/ I have no idea!
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, your after and before, and the photo with your parents:) We will be celbrating our 31st anniversary this month. We had two wedding receptions, but didn't have colors at either one!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding colors were pink and blue. Kind of weird, but keep in mind it was 38 years ago......maybe they were cool colors back then! I hope you have a Happy Anniversary!!!
ReplyDeletekeels@mvdsl.com

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Our colors were teal and silver. Thanks for the opportunity to win!=)
ReplyDeleteHi Corrie, happy anniversary! We didnt have wedding colors per se. I wore an ivory lace drace bought at The Dress Barn and my husband wore a gray suit he already owned. We got married on Friday at lunchtime at a friends house. Our guests were a handful of the church single's group we didnt bible studies and other activities with. It was potluck so each one brought a dish. Still remember Greg's yummy lasagne...
ReplyDeleteNo wedding colors, married by justice of the peace
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe were married in the fall~ burgundy and dove grey.
Happy Anniversary! We'll be 27 years at the end of this month - time flies. Just had my sister stand up for me and I think she wore a peach dress - time to get the album out.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! We're at about 5 1/2 years ourselves...
ReplyDeleteOur wedding colors were very warm/woodsy colors. Burgundy, dark/olive green, gold...
I am a NBM - never been married. My favorite wedding colors were those my sister selected - light yellow and light green - she selected colors that would look good on her attendants (like me). Decades later and the colors would still look fresh for a wedding.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! We were married on St. Patrick's Day, so neither one of us can forget our anniversary! LOL We didn't have much, so we just wore our Sunday best and had our parents stand with us. But it must have "taken" cos it's lasted for 33 years now!
ReplyDeleteJacque in SC
Quiltnsrep(at)yahoo(dot)com
My color was lilac. Still love that color. thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm - which wedding? hahaha...my colors were rust (there's a clue for the outcome) and cream. LOVE your hair!
ReplyDeletemy colors were red and white...lovely roses and carnations with a bit of pink added in...
ReplyDeleteIt must have worked as we will celebrate our 40th in December this year!! lol
Ha! Ha! Our colors were peach and grey. We should have done the right thing and got sealed in the Temple, but we did not. We have been married 21 years in May. We were sealed to our kids 2002.
ReplyDeleteWe were married 34 years ago and had salmon an mint green. Our groomsmen wore Mint green tuxes is you can believe it!! And they did look terrific, LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhat year were you married? We were married in 1983 - and blue was my choice for bridesmaids dresses. It seems like that's when "country blue" was first becoming popular. That's what we had, along with gray tuxes.... ah, the memories! You 2 haven't aged a bit - you look great!
ReplyDeleteI was just getting ready to write that i had no clue whatsoever the wedding colors...but then I remembered the bridesmaid dresses were yellow. Surely something else matched with that, but i don't remember...it's been 30 years.
ReplyDeleteHappy Annniversary! My color was eggplant purple. What a great day that was 12 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI picked my color almost 15 years ago. It was navy blue. I should have however, picked army green. My husband is army and by now I think we both bleed army green.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Corrie! I had purchased an ivory wedding gown with beautiful beading, then we broke tradition and decided to elope!! We were married in comfortable clothes by a friend that was a Justice of the Peace. We were still able to share a glass of champagne and eat yummy wedding cake..Enjoy your special day and the memories of everything that has made your lives so special!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMy wedding colors fifteen years ago were fuschia and white! And it rained on our wedding day.
Someone told me that lavender was a color everyone looked good in so that was my choice for bridesmaid dresses 38 years ago last week!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!! :) My wedding colours were navy & white... very casual & fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI got married just last Saturday, April 2nd! My colors were black and hot pink. I had stargazer lilies for my flowers. And I leave this Saturday for my Honeymoon in Germany!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I hope me and my new hubby get as many happy years as you and yours. And I hope for many more for both of us!
Our wedding color 31 years ago was baby blue. All of the guys tuxes were baby blue and had ruffles on the shirts. We made the bridesmaids' dresses out of baby blue dotted swiss cotton. I haven't seen that material around in a while. Congratulations and thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My hub & I got married 10 years ago. Our colors were purple and silver -- something I almost instantly regretted! Isn't it funny how almost everyone would redo their wedding in a completely different way...?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to enter!
Happy anniversary !It is our 25th wedding anniversary in Dec this year. My bridesmaids had peach coloured dresses with big puffy sleeves!!!
ReplyDeleteMy colors were forest green and burgundy, so trendy at the time. I didn't have bridesmaids, though, so no one has a horrid burgundy dress to curse me for. In December we just had our 17th anniversary. Congratulations to you two!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! My wedding photos are so old they are in sepia tones ... not really just seems like it:))
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope I'm not too late! I was flying home yesterday and missed this, but noticed you hadn't chosen a winner yet! I was married a l-o-n-g time ago, in 1971, my colors were dark hunter green and ivory. Very 70's. We will be married 40 years this fall--wow!
ReplyDeleteI got married in 1996 and our colors were pink and blue. The pink was soft and the blue was bright. It was nice, no regrets. LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary
ReplyDelete
