  8. I thank you for this chance ... really cool!! I like seeing Oliver + S's new line Cape Ann. I think my girls would love dresses made from this line. Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic has a new line called Treasures which is soft and pretty. And I have always enjoyed all things Nancy Halvorson so can't wait to see Jingle All The Way and her new book. Happy Thursday!!

  9. Looking at the photos from Market, I've found myself really interested in some of the dress and skirt patterns. I haven't sewn clothing in many years, but am getting tempted with the patterns and fabric. Seems every designer has designed a super new line. I want them all:)

  10. I had to look, because I haven't really seen the new things coming out...it's amazing...so fun to look at!

    I must also say that I love flat rate envelops! they are so fun to stuff...however our post master is very strict on them...so if you overstuff...they charge you extra for regular priority. =( Not nice!

  11. I just got back from your flickr slideshow of the Quilt Market. I am completely overwhelmed by all of the beautiful handmade items! Amazing! How in the world do you pick "a" favorite? I haven't seen ANYTHING I don't like. (I think I need to have a personal shopper - I like to be surprised!)

  20. There are a few fabric collections that caught my eye: Hometown, Terrain, Ruby, and Heirloom. While I love the quilt and clothing patterns too, I have this "thing" about buying patterns when already have so many. Maybe one day I too can go to Market.

  27. I am really loving the Birch Avalon line- the bikes are too cute! I love the Storyboek line too! So fun :) I gotta win that book- it's been on my MUST HAVE list forever! :)

  38. More than just one designer or one line of fabrics, I'm excited to see so many bright colors! They all look so yummy!! Is it because it's spring, or do you think that this year is especially brighter than previous ones? I wish I could visit this quilt market one day. Some day, maybe... hope is never lost! :-)

  44. The moda book you showed looks interesting. And there are so many fabrics I've seen online that look wonderful -- especially Terrain and Veranda. Although for Terrain it seems like it will be a long wait!

  56. Wish I'd been at Market. Everything looks so fabulous. My all-time favourite, though, is Sew Cherry by Lori Holt. The colours are great and I love the 50s feel of it.

  71. I can't choose just one fabric to say I'm most excited about - I love the bright colors that so many of them have. Ruby would definitely be close to the top of the list. But most of all, I love all the inspiration for new projects I've seen in all the pictures.
