  16. Never read one HP book or seen any of the movies. Didn't even realize there were more than three books OR movies until the other day! Crazy huh? But I like fabric. :)

  19. Loved reading the series with my son. I also listened to the audio books while sewing. Awesome! Wish I could stay awake and attend the midnight showing. Enjoy the movie!

  24. Not a Harry Potter fan, but in my little town of about 25,000 the movie is showing tonight at two theaters on a total of 12 screens. That's crazy!

  37. I have read all of the HP books by Rowling. I have only seen a couple of the movies. The length of time between them kinda lost me.
    I can always use red and gold fabrics. My stash is heavy on blues (I have heard that it is a "man thing") You never know when I will need those Gryffindor colors for something. Please enter me for a chance to win.

  39. We are HUGE fans, read each of the books several times, listened to the books several times (Jim Dale is a genius) and have gone to the movies on opening day too!!! Sad the movies are ending but so happy that I will have JKR's word to enjoy for the rest of my life, and we will enjoy them many times over in the years to come!

  56. I have been an HP fan since 1998 when my (then 10-yr-old) brother told me about this book I HAD to read! I won't be seeing the movie any time soon, but the books will go down as all-time favorites!!

  72. I love HP! I always took my boys to see Harry for my older son's birthdays. They used to come out around his November birthday, and so he went for that.. not this one this time. My son is in Boot Camp for this one, so we miss out on going together :( big sad face. We will have to attend this one apart. I will take my youngest son and we will go just the two of us probably not at midnight either.. way past my bedtime. Perhaps early next week. I am very excited though :) Everyone says this is the BEST of them all!

  73. My daughter is a big fan and has read all the books. I on the other hand have read none of them but have seen all the movies with her. A big thrill for her this year was spending her junior year abroad at Oxford University in England where the dining hall looked just like the one at Hogwarts!

  84. My oldest daughters childhood began (1st grade when she read the first book) with "Harry Potter". It now (she's 18 and just graduated high school) is ending with the final movie. So, here's to childhood and all it's magic!

  86. I originally bought the first Harry Potter book to try to get my son excited about reading. Instead of him entering Harry's world, my daughter and I did. It's been a wonderful ride. Now I'm sharing the books and movies with my granddaughter.

  126. My granddaughter is going to the midnight show. I have loved Harry Potter from the very first book. I used to listen to the CD's going 500 miles round trip twice a month. Now I have to listen to a new story or I'll go to sleep. And that's not such a safe thing!
