One year, for mother's day, I saved up and bought my mum this set of earrings, that had inter-changeable colour rings that you could switch to match your outfit. 150. Strangely enough, I cannot remember any special Mother's Days from when I was younger. I'm sure we did something fun...

  151. I'm so thankful my mom introduced me to sewing and answered all those random calls/questions while I was learning!

Thanks! (I'm also a follower on Pinterest now too!)

  155. I already am a follower and enjoy your blog very much. I would love to make a quilt for my mom. So, I would use your fat quarters to do so. I love all those designers and to win would mean so much to me. I would love to get an unexpected present in my mail box. I know my mom would probably love her quilt so much and she really needs one. Thank you for being a part of Sew Mama Sew giveaway and for the chance to win.

My mom is amazing because she raised me and my twin sister all on her own for ten years. And now (at 52!) she races in triathlons!

  157. My mom passed away last year so this is the first Mother's Day without her. I don't know how I will feel yet, but I miss her everyday. I will definitely hug my children this week for her.

  158. I've inherited my craftiness from my mom and nanny, who are both very talented ladies and I feel very lucky to have taken after them.

  159. Why a fantastic bundle! Those mermaids are adorable!

I do t want to be a downer, but my mom and I are not close. Lucky for me though I have three beautiful little girls who I spend the day with. I want to be everything to them my own mom wasn't. So every day is like Mother's Day for me. And, just the other day I had an appointment to get my tubes tied. We were thinking we just couldn't afford another. But a few days before my husband said let's talk...we decided to go for it and we're going to try for one more! What a week that wAs!

  175. I still miss my mom, but my kids always try to take me out to eat on Mother's Day. However, my daughter is working this year so we won't get to do that. I'm just happy to be living to enjoy my grandkids. Seeing them is the best part of Mother's Day.

  187. ok, well I am a Debbie downer. My birthday is this week and its also mother's day. I have to admit I feel slighted because of it. I somehow am sick during that period and guess what, I am sick today. YUCK!! Anyway, my mom lives far away and I don't wait until mother's day to tell her she's the best. so don't wait either. too many people lose their mothers abruptly with too much left to say. love your mom and love your kids so they will love you ash their mom as much as you love yours someday!
