In honor of the 4th of July coming up --
We are seeing red!
Sew Red
Let's all skip around the room.
I would reenact this photo for you,
if I had a stark white room. :)
That's Denyse Schmidt's pattern.
Okay, I should not have opened the book,
because now I'm wanting to keep it.
I've never wanted a heart quilt,
until now.
How cute is that, with the grey and
Tula Pink's cool fabric (Frog Prince).
Wish I still had some of that right now.
Here are projects by Aneela Hoey
and Sweetwater.
Sweet.
Stripey little purse by Patty Young.
Big names in this book, Amy Butler, Anna Maria,
Kaffe, Kaari Meng, Anna Griffin, and more.
They are sewing and quilting for women's heart health.
It's an appeal to women to take charge
and prevent heart disease.
Let's do it!
[Gene, you do it too.]
The giveaway today is Sew Red
along with some red fabric!
leave a comment about yes, something red
or
tell us about your plans for the holiday.
And since next week is the 4th
and there's lots going on,
we're going to have this giveaway go 2 weeks,
so the winner will be picked on July 5th.
Update: Congrats to Tanyia!
You are the winner!
Be sure to check out the Moda Candy sale in the Shop!
